Dear Mrs. de Laszlo
I cannot tell you how glad we both are to hear your good news & to know that Mr. de Laszlo is feeling better, please give him our love.
I can well imagine your & your children [sic] joy to be able to spend Xmas together & to begin a New Year reunited. I hope most sincerely that 1919 will bring you all much much happiness & compensation in this respect for the horrors of 1918, my husband[1] joins with me.
I hope you will let

me know from time to time how Mr. de Laszlo is well as yourself. I am sure you also want quiet & country air after all you have had to go through during those terrible 14 months of your enforced separation from your husband however your reunion to him will do much I am sure to make you forget the horrible past. Lord Weardale sends you many messages in which I heartily join.
