Angpan'dêk History:

Part one: Ths tribes of the Angpans

In the year 2240 in the second era, a group of islands in Southeast Asia known as the Angpans were first colonized by nomads from the west. The colonists were barbaric at first, but they each began to form separate nation states on their own islands. Each island, no matter how large or small, was colonized by its own tribe.

The tribes of the Angpans began to grow and develope their own unique culture compared to the west. Farming sugar, silk, and a fruit known as PangYan, the Angpanian tribes began to cultivate amongst themselves. A widespread language, known as Pangyeji, began to develop amongst the people. As cities grew larger, food and space on the smaller islands lead to revolt.

Civil war became abundant in the Angpans. Inevitably, larger tribes began to quarrel for thousands of years, and by 3921 of the second era, the war remained locked between the four largest tribes, the Angyâng, the Sinitsu, the Dhohnakalibaras, and the Hopekhân. This war lasted from year 3921 of the Second Era up until year 407 of the Fourth Era. In year 398, a young man named Angpan'DyungPan (litteraly translates to "islander of the islands") was born. By the year 407, he had become leader of the Hopekhân tribe. Young and determined, Angpand built a navy of 10,000 ships (10,000,000 according to popular legend) and sailed through the Angpans, from island to island. His army crushed the opposing forces of Horsemen and Pikemen to the northwest. He named the origional tribe of Hopekhân to be the empires Capital, which it remains today.

Angpan soon became a loved member of all the islands. He chose to found a government based around democracy in 411, where each of the four main tribes elected a leader, and all four leaders voted on the actions of the nation together. The people, who had been oppressed by tribal "god kings" for far too long, had accepted this system with open arms, naming it the "Angpan'dü" (translation: Angpans republic/ the Islanders republic). This system would provide the founding basics on the Angpans for the rest of their existence.

Part two: The Angpan'dü

Beginning in the year 408, the Angpan'dü was the first successful form of government in the Angpans. Finaly a united nation, four leaders would be elected from each tribe to serve the government. Unfortunately, this was a very shortlived system.

The Angpan Era

When Angpan first conquered the islands and set up his republic, he was almost immediately voted into office for the people of Hopekhân. Due to the laws of the land, three other presidents ("consolut" in Pandek) had to be selected. These men were Yentuku from Dos, Retrina Kitashi from Sinitsu, and Tyshnu Dêk of Angyâng. During this time it was decided that the empire needed to be self-sufficient. Civil war and conflict always happened to the north and west, and to the south and east ships would disappear due to Daxen attacks. So, working on internal affairs, they decided to develop their cities with walls and infrastructure, followed by markets, libraries, cathedrals, universities, banks, courthouses, harbors, factories, and more. The economy was booming. The Palace at Hopekhân, a Wonder of the Alternate World, was built in the capital. At this time, Hopekhân was recognized as the greatest city in the world. Farms were developed, and the people were all rich. Mines began discovering veins of gold, and the country hit a huge period of prosperity. However, the city of Angyâng was upset about the laws that forbade interaction. Being connected to the mainland, they wanted to trade knowledge and goods with the people in the northwest, but unfortunately current laws forbade that.

The Oppu Era

By the time the four consoluts mentioned above had become deceased, new ones had been elected. Redsword Asterisk (said to be from the Empire of Ecrata) was the representative from Hopekhân, Kimpal DuBiot from Dhos, Retikai Newishakisan from Sinitsu, and Oppu Dêk from Angyâng. Then, all hell broke loose. Trader-economies had formed in Dhos and Angyâng, while Hopekhân and Sinitsu wanted to keep to their internal selves. With the nation split at a 2-2 vote, Oppu Dêk decided to rebel. He came prepared with a secret. Merchants from the free state of Dessi had supplied them with weapons, and the knowledge of gunpowder. After the city of Hopekhân is bombed, the southern states surrender. Oppu crowns himself the first king of the Angpans, and the nation is renamed Angpan'dêk.

Part Three: Angpan'dêk age of Kings

Oppu Dêk (456-478)

His first royal decree was to expand the empire. Into the mainland they went. Angyâng was no longer a border city, but in the heart of several trading towns and farms where the Arid area meets the Jungle. King Oppu's Reign:

  • Oppu is responsible for the construction of the first trade road of the empire. It led from Dessi to Angyâng, and was for trading Gold, Silk, and Sugar for Weapons, Furs, and Architecture.
  • Under Oppu, a species was discovered. The Et'tsi are beings that resemble saber toothed cats, but crossed with horses. They have olive fur, slightly darker than the skin of an Angpan'dêki, and can run at speeds up to 18mph. They can also jog for long distances without stopping for food or water, making them ideal trading beasts.
  • Theskinine, a new element was discovered. Weapons made of theskinine were good at harming Dax.

Oppu died of food poisoning after trying to cute his bad back with western medicine techniques.

Kantara Dêk (479-528)

Kantara is known as the adventure king. During his reign:

  • Flight was developed
  • The Daxen Shipwreck was sighted from above.
  • He personally became the first human to touch the bottom of the Arctic Well if youth, and Collossi were discovered.
  • Several more islands were added to the Empire.

Kantara died trying to retrieve the treasures from the Dax Wreckage.

Kangping Dêk (529-554)

Kangping is known thought the world as the industrial king. His empire became united under his control. Although certain people started to hate him, he made many technological advancements for the empire, during his time as king:

  • Army uniforms and weapons became standardized
  • The navy and Air Force doubled in size
  • Space travel and telecommunications programs began.
  • Steel buildings were being constructed.
  • Automobiles used by the general population.
  • (!) Empire withstood a great flood in 532

Kangping died of the stomach flu.

Alexander Van Dêk (555-558)

Known as the Crazy king, Alexander Van Dêk has the shortest reign in the history of Angpan'dêk due to his mad ideas. During his short reign, he managed to:

  • Fill an entire house with water for his goldfish.
  • Call an attack on the Arkateckt (stopped before it could be went through with)

Alexander was killed by his own people, who chose his second son to fit the kings shoes.

Terra Dêk (559-638)

Known as the young king, Terra was thrust onto the throne at the age of 11. He was, however, the most mature ruler of his empire. Under the great Terra:

  • The empires treasury doubled, making their total funds over 75 trillion Kurenci (Angpan'dêk money)
  • The Dax were defeated in several fronts, nuclear power plants were erected in their territory.
  • Theaters and libraries were built in almost every city. People had become smarter and happier worldwide.
  • Education systems were set up.
  • Terra himself had traveled to simi.
  •  All empires were on good terms with the Angpandek
  • A submarine reached the bottom of the Dark Hordes Trench
  • The language "Pandeki" had spread worldwide. Several empires languages had taken on Pandeki words and phrases for their own.
  • (!) 65,000 dead as half of Dhos burns. The Great Dhosian Burning lasts 3 nights. Fortunately the whole city ends up rebuilt by the end of Terra's reign.
  • Hopekhân is recognized locally as "the greatest city in the world" because of its wonders, theaters, aqueducts, infrastructure, navy, palace, and the number of scholars and celebrities that chose to make residence there.
  • (!) NOTE: Most of these accomplishments were rendered invalid upon the death of Terra.

Terra even discussed bringing democracy back to the islands and its colonies, but this was instantly put to rest when he died in bed mysteriously. Some say it was his son Rokku who killed him, for the throne.

Part 4: Rokku and modern Angpan'dêk

Upon the death of his father, young Rokku seized the throne. He was orrigionaly a horrible king. During his first 12 years as king, he:

  • Tried to fight a war against communist Dessi, failed and lost over 100,000 lives.
  • Wasted the entire nations science and manufacturing fund for his own immortality.
  • Left over 87% of all Angpan'dêki in poverty.
  • His police force killed over 7,800 civilians.
  • Stopped trade with other nations, halting the economy.
  • Lost some of the northernmost islands to barbarians.

However, in the 13th year of his kingship, he managed to use science to make himself immortal (solely in the sense of longevity, not that he cannot be killed by outside forces) by having the feces of the legendary Collossi shipped from the Antarctic Well of Youth once monthly. Upon achieving this, he had a huge change in heart, and ended up restoring the old order of his ways. A statue of him was built on the shores of Sinitsu, and the people began to retort to their old king worshiping ways. During his "eternal reign":

  • The life expectancy grew 30 years.
  • People began to keep and trade exotic pets. (648)
  • There was another gold boom, making the economy lush (652)
  • Hopekhân became a huge tourist attraction. (653)
  • Trading relations with the Ecrati boomed. (655)
  • Women and western men gained rights. (658)
  • Slavery was abolished.(658)
  • Angyâng became the trading capital of the world.(658)
  • The Dêk bloodline was secured, in case Rokku gets assassinated.(658)
  • Arts production almost tripled, and museums were built in almost every main city and town.(723)
  • Production of a base on Simi had begun.(1898)
  • A king had only one bride for the first time ever.(2458)
  • A base was constructed on the shores of Antarctica.(2462)
  • Traders are said to have stepped onto the shores of the Arkateckts island.(2463)
  • The Game(9/3/4)
  • Angpan'dêk culture, food, books, and sports became almost globally popular. (1000+)
  • (!) a fire destroyed Sinitsu in its entirety, but it was rebuilt to the northwest of its orrigional location.(2465)
  • A system of underground railroads connected the Angpans. (2472)
  • There were advancements in producing solar and wind energy. (3119)

To his own people, Rokku is a scholar, cultural Icon, and provider to them, but as for diplomatic relationships, Rokku is cocky and cruel to the other empires. He does however maintain a good relationship with the Ecrati, who he views as equally cocky and supreme.

This is an unfinished document that may be edited at some point.
