Recipe Lib's Jamaican-Inspired Jerk Marinade

1 1/2 T. water

1 T. jerk seasoning (Penzeys recommended)

1 lime, juiced

2 t. soy sauce

1 - 1 1/2 lb. chicken (I use tenders) or pork chops (I like thin ones)

Mix water and jerk seasoning to make a paste. Add lime juice and soy sauce.

Pierce the meat with a fork.

Pour marinade over meat in a covered dish or zip-top bag in the refrigerator 4 hours or overnight.

Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium heat. Grill the meat 3-4 minutes per side until the juices run clear.
