Dear Students and Parents/Guardians,
Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year at Britton Middle School. We hope you are enjoying a relaxing summer vacation and, at the same time, eagerly anticipating the opening of school. Starting this school year, classes will start at 8:55 a.m. and end at 3:01 p.m. The new bell schedule is included in this packet for your convenience. We have planned some events to help kick off this school year:
Thursday, August 10th
6th Grade Orientation (aka Bobcat Bonanza) 9:00-1:00 p.m. (Gym)
This year, Britton is partnering with One Yard to provide incoming 6th graders a fun, and active introduction to Bobcat Life. Activities include: ice breakers, team building games, dodgeball, a scavenger hunt, campus tour, meeting the Principal, and more... 6th Graders who participate will receive their schedules at the conclusion of the day. Bobcat Bonanza is FREE to all incoming 6th Graders.
* 6th grade students will receive their schedule early in exchange for completed Emergency Card

Tuesday, August 15th
Students will receive their class schedule in exchange for their completed Emergency Card AND Signature Page. In addition, 7th grade students must have their Tdap immunization record on file in order to pick up their schedule.

Our mission at Britton Middle School is to make sure that your child gains the academic skills and work ethic that will ensure success in high school and beyond. This is the time for students to set their sights on their future and prepare the foundation to attain their goals. That being said, a few things:
