Dodger rolled over as she woke up. The alarm clock was green and said it was 12 pm. She breathed in the air and coughed. “Stupid air, it's just... thin.” She mumbles looking around. No one else in the bedroom but her, as usual. If she had to guess, Sally was in the living room working on another app or some measuring subroutine. Kyna was... middle of the day, Thursday? Yes it was Thursday. She was probably doing the guard job around the commune. She jumped out of bed and moved towards the shower to get ready for another day.

The sun was bright as always and the air smelled faintly of dust and exhaust with a dash of salt. Dodger hated it. She also hated to admit at least it didn't smell like shit like Chicago. Salt Lake City was a foreign land to her where they put Pastrami on burgers and served something called fry sauce. It was a disgusting mix of ketchup and mayonnaise that the locals dipped their french fries into. The caracal girl didn't mind the pastrami on the burger. If anything she treated it like an exotic type of bacon.

But today she didn't want to go to Apollo burger, no she wanted to draw. She sat in the shade of the balcony drawing Sally. Dodger loved drawing the rotund red panda. There was something that about how her breasts strained against the tight fabric of her t-shirt. Then there was the poofy red tail gently swaying over her full rear whenever she ate a chocolate covered Swiss roll. Ah, to Dodger, Sally was a muse as much of a lover. For as long Dodger could recall she loved larger women, and she would spend hours on sites looking at plus sized models. She was glad that she fell in love twice with two beautifully big women wishing there were more around for her to oogle at. Dodger smiled again and exhaled a breath she held for some time subconsciously.

A plume of deep cosmic purple smoke floated from her lips.

The caracal gasped and tried to breath it back in succeeding and getting most of it. Dodger sighed and rubbed her face. She knew that her body was weird and immune to most poisons. She learned swiftly she can breath poisons and toxins as well. The more awkward one was when she belched a cloud of that purple smoke in front of Sally and the red panda girl burst out of her clothes. Kyna was able to get Sally back to her old size with some very obscure potions she found online. Dodger secretly wished the snow leopardess wouldn't have done that. The thought though of the week between the incident and it's resolution still brought a sheepish blush to Dodger's face.

Sally was looking through the sliding glass door at Dodger. Curiosity traced with concern were settled across her round face. Dodger felt her cheeks turn bright red as she wished again she had the sandy fur of other caracals. Dodger waved the concern away. Sally shrugged as she went back to work and Dodger settled back into her drawings. The little caracal trying to be mindful of her uniqueness as to not let any more of that smoke out of her.

Half way across the sprawl that was Salt Lake City a chair groaned in protest. It was rare that Amanda Hughes could find a chair that wouldn’t do that. Yet that was to be expected when you were ten feet tall and weighed a touch over a ton. The titan of a Canadian lynx looked out of ZCMI Tower over the sprawling city and snorted in disgust. Nothing could do business in Deseret without first discussing with ZCMI who were tight fisted and tended to prefer smaller corporations for their junk food. Amanda was on the war path to make sure she could carve out a chunk of Deseret’s prosperity for herself.

Yet she found herself headed off at the pass by her long time rival. Amanda glowered at the svelte black mouse with an enormous rack and smartly braided hair who only smirked at Amanda knowingly. The young male representative from ZCMI either didn’t care about the hostility in the air or was oblivious to it. Amanda favored the latter since he was dressed unimaginatively, American cut suit and missionary cut blonde hair favoring his all too common human features while conforming to the social standards of Deseret’s religious majority. “Miss Hughes, I understand your bid here for Hughes Snack Food is well within the compliance given of our”

Amanda rolled her emerald green eyes before speaking. “Mister Smith, please cut to the chase. Do you accept my bid or not?” Her voice as piercing as that head of richly dyed purple hair.

The young human furrowed his brow and looks up at Amanda, “Miss Hughes, Stella Rudwell here has a bid that is far more, shall we say palatable to our nation. I hope you understand that we will be approving her bid for Rudwell’s Foods. It manages to make more use of the natural resources within our nation after all.” That insufferable mouse Stella grinned with her perfect teeth and surgically flawless body broadcasting loudly that she had won this match.

Amanda on the other hand had years of experience on the arrogant C.E.O. and nodded gracefully as she effortlessly moved her massive wobbling body out of her custom chair. “I completely understand Mr. Smith. I was hoping that the nation of Deseret had a healthy enough market for true competition, but such is life.” She laid the emotion thick of bemoaning the Deseret nation rather than her own shortcoming. This effect wasn’t lost on Stella but Mr. Smith however felt his eyebrows furrow deeper. Amanda had him.

“I beg pardon Miss Hughes but what do you mean?” Stella’s jaw dropped at Mr. Smith’s comment.

“Well, I mean I came here hearing how ZCMI has always made Deseret bloom like a jewel of the desert. Personally I couldn’t believe them and I guess I was right. I suppose I’ll just need to see Cascadia about their economy. I’ve been hearing it’s booming.” Amanda counted silently as she moved steadily to the door. Her shapely full rear bouncing with every pronounced step. By the time she got to five, Mr. Smith spoke.

“I suppose I could review with the board and see if there is room for both companies.” He adjusted his jacket feeling proud of himself.

“Now hold on just a minute.” Stella began as Amanda started to turn towards the human.

“Now now Miss Rudwell, I believe this does bare some reviewing. I am certain that some healthy diversity in our marketplaces will do the populace good.”

Amanda grinned predatorily at Stella before in a soothing manner she praised “Thank you Mr. Smith, I’m certain both Rudwell’s Food and Hughes’ Snack Food will strive to do nothing less than surprise you.” After some short farewells the two dramatically contrasting women rode in an elevator that was surprisingly strong and large enough for Amanda.

“That was a dirty trick Adephagia.” Stella said looking out the window of the elevator as it went down.

Amanda chortled out. “Is that so Expandagal? I thought it was perfectly fair all things considered. I must say it was rather underhanded of you to try to force me out before I even moved in. But, it seems business as usual for both of us now isn’t it?”

“You mad slob, I will beat you I swear it.” Stella turned to face Amanda, glaring upward.

Amanda smirked and waggled a thick finger. “Tck, we are in public Expandagal, and I hear that appearances are very well appreciated here.” The elevator chimed that they were at the ground floor. “And I don’t think ZCMI would appreciate a partner making a scene in the middle of their lobby.” The mouse felt the fight drain out of her as Amanda muscled past her. “Still though, it’s not the victory I wanted.” Amanda said under her breath crossly. In her heart of hearts, Amanda knew that she’d have to donne Adephagia’s uniform again and take out her nemesis Stella ‘Expandagal’ Rudwell if she wanted that slice of Deseret pie all to herself. She unlocked her customized cellphone and scrolled through the contacts before stopping on one. “Maybe not.” She mumbled as she dialed out.

It was 6:30 and Dodger had finished another portrait of her largest lover. She smiled a bit happy of her work for once and closed up the book as Kyna came in. The snow leopard was still in her guard uniform and looked a touch haggard. “Hey, we ready for dinner with Alex?” She asked with a smile.

Sally nodded carrying out a huge ceramic pot with beef ravioli in it. “Yeah, he’d meet us at the common room right?”

Kyna nodded, washing her hands in the sink. “And the bread?”

“In the oven at the commons. What are Alex and Kayla bringing?” Dodger asked slipping her shoes and hip bumping Kyna who chuckled a response back.

“Bruschetta and Kayla’s wonderful cookies.” Kyna shook her hands dry and wiped them off on her sash.

“Bru-what now?” Sally asked as she moved towards the door. Her wide hips bumping into Kyna’s katzenmesser.

“It’s Italian Pico de Gallo.” Kyna said as the trio moved into the hallway.

There was a brief pause as the two other girls comprehended what was presented.“Ew.” Dodger and Sally said in unison.

Kyna chuckled as they moved towards the basement commons room. The sun shown on the bamboo airwell at the center of the common green. Towards the westward wall the shade started to cover the world in comforting darkness though the algae lamps were providing soft green light. Kyna was still technically on duty but it was traditional for the captain on duty to eat a meal with the captain taking over. Kyna and Alex were friends from Junction City Academy so they both enjoyed each other. Kayla found Sally and Dodger enjoyable, though Alex was Dodger’s favorite. She and him had similar family problems that left them with complementary views on a lot of life. Alex had shaggy long black hair, brown eyes, a well groomed goatee and chocolate skin. He was in a matching uniform but with a pistol, heavy baton on his hip and a bowl of red stuff in his hands.

Dodger waved at the night captain. “Hey Alex!”

He smiled and called “Good to see you Blackstones.” Kayla was next to him, pale skin, red hair to her mid back, hazel eyed. She was wearing a knee length black dress with a red sash around the waist and she was carrying a huge plate of cookies.

“Good evening night watch captain Turner.” Kyna smiled as they all entered the common dining room and set up for the evening meal and briefing. It was a happy meal between the five though the two captains shared information about what happened. “Yeah, just some bolt head bangers from the Anglican ‘clave trying to start some shit. No heavy armor or weaponry just some kids with bats looking to be tough.”

Alex nodded as he cut into a ravioli. “Usual shit then?” Kyna nodded again, Alex then turned to Dodger. “Any new sketches there Dodger?”

Dodger gulped and nodded before grabbing her sketch book and opening it to the sketch from earlier today. “It’s Sally, at work.” She mumbled smiling with a blush. “Do you like it?”

David looked over the sketch of the red panda at her computer desk. “You have a good sense of weight with this picture Dodger. You’re getting really good!”

The caracal beamed at the praise and Kyna smiled. “She snuck into the restroom once to get a sketch of me.” Dodger opened her mouth to protest, but Kayla interrupted.

“That’s really sweet, may we see it?” Kayla looked at the two cats. Kyna shrugged and gestured to Dodger who blushingly turned the page to a picture of the snow leopard washing her hair. Full figured and beautiful.the caracal took detail while being tasteful about certain details.”I may have to ask you to do a portrait of Alex and I, you are quite the artist.” Alex looked a little mortified as he looked over his friend. “Alex, get over it. When you and she were school mates you shared a shower.”

“Yeah, but she was he back then, no offense Kyna.” The snow leopard shrugged. Dodger giggled a little, suddenly catching on that Kyna was putting her friend in an awkward position with his wife. “Anyway, when are you and your’s shipping up north?”

“Ugh, as soon as we can convince our fearless leader to permit me to set up a commune up there.” Kyna ran her hands through her hair as Dodger listened. The Caracal knew her partner’s plan was to get up into Cascadia, where Kafziel and Eden lived. The plan was to live with all of them in a commune she ran finally.. If it got Dodger out of the heat, she was fine with it. Bonus points because she’d finally be near the ocean too.

        “She still giving you grief?”

“Yeah says this place is too untested for me to leave it yet. Bullsiht.”Alex nodded in agreement and they all went back to their food. Soon the food was gone though and the briefing over. Kyna hugged Alex in a way that clearly said familial bonds before they bowed out.

“Should be slow enough to study Alex.” Kyna said before walking back to the shared apartment with Sally and Dodger.

Dodger did speak up though. “I wish you would at least warn me next time you tell him.”

“Sorry snowball.” Kyna leaned in and kissed her on the cheek. “I’ll make sure to do that next time okay?”

“Thanks Kyna.” She smiled before bounding over to her laptop and opening it up for some gaming. Kyna came in with a heavy novel she recently bought while Sally played an MMO. This, was bliss. Quiet but surrounded by people that cared for each other. Kyna and Dodger enjoyed it the most though Sally was prone to wanting more interaction.

Then Kyna’s phone rang. She took a look at the screen and picked it up immediately. “Yes?” A pause as a deep, silky voice spoke in Kyna’s ear. “Yes it has been a long time, what can I do for you?” Another pause, more of the silky voice that Dodger concluded was effeminate spoke. “How much?” Pause. “That much huh? So what’s the target?” More muffled talking before Kyna interrupted. “No, no, I can do big ones, but I’m not going to screw over locals.” Another stream of words. “Ah, so an out of towner trying to set up. How big’s the operation?” A quick pause. “That big, alright. I’ll do it, but it will take some time and I’m not going out tonight.” A brief Barrage of protest. “No, that’s final. I’m having a moment with my family. I’ll start first thing in the morning. Day off and all.” A sigh, but accepting. “Good, I’ll keep in touch.”

“So who was that?” Sally asked, already expecting the answer.

“Work, private job. Pay out is huge.” Kyna explained. “Money’s too good and we could use it.”

Dodger sighed a bit. “Promise me you’ll be around for at least 8 hours on your days off?”

Kyna hesitated, but nodded. “I will Snowball. It’s a long haul of a job and pretty local.”

Sally nodded again. “Well that’s good then.” Dodger was more worried though. Local jobs meant Kyna had to be more careful lest she get caught. And with that, there would be no fleeing to Cascadia.

“Just be careful Kyna, and don’t make yourself a target.”

“I won’t snowball.” Kyna said before leaning on the shorter feline.

It was 2 am and Sally was asleep. She still had projects to work on in the morning. Kyna was asleep as well though her outfit for tomorrow was selected. A bag full of Sally’s long battery life surveillance drones, lock picks both digital and analog, her fountain pen that ‘sang’ slightly, paper, a telescoping baton, plus a variety of pre-made spells. Dodger looked on slightly worried about the tools. Kyna was bright and witty but Dodger always viewed her as more willing to jump into harm's way to save people. Dodger looked at shoddily colored picture and sighed, setting her tablet pen down. “Fuck this.” Too much on the caracal’s mind and she wanted to get it out. She settled on a walk in spite of it being two a.m.

She stepped outside into the outdoor commons. It was lit up in hallways and the commons with beautiful blue-ish white lamps. The caracal did not quite understand how the bio-luminescent lanterns worked but it didn’t matter. They kept the air as clean as possible and during the night they provided such wonderful light. Dodger made her way to the entrance check point. “Hey Alex.” She waved at her friend as she moved towards the gateway.

Alex looked up from his notebook and smiled.“Where you off too tonight?”

“Might hit up Apollo burger, if that’s what you're asking.”

“If you do, grab me a double bacon okay?” Alex shouted after her before turning back to his studies.

“Alright.” Dodger replied before stepping out of the commune’s housing. The night air smelled, different. Less cars meant less exhaust and dust. Salt was still there but joining it was the smells of late night eateries and slightly like a beach. Dodger found this more pleasant than the daytime’s smell and it was the reason she tended to venture out later at night. “Where do I go?”She mumbled looking down towards the Apollo burger down the left. The meaty ravioli sated her want of savory but it still tempted her. Not as much as the neighborhood grocer did. Dodger knew they had cheesecake there at a reasonable price. It was something that was a rare commodity where she and her lover’s lived. She paused and whipped out her phone to check on what she had left in her bank account. She had more than enough and she smiled before turning right.

Meanwhile someone else was targeting the neighborhood market. Amanda Hughes was dressed for the evening. She wasn’t out on the town in a traditional sense but more to relax. She was in a reddish orange nano-weave wetsuit that clung to every curve and roll for dear life. Across her shoulders was a black cape gracefully covering her broad backside and it fluttered in the breeze as she hovered over the Salt Lake City Sprawl. Her face, well part of it anyway was covered with a burnt Venetian mask with gold inlanes of vaguely food shaped filigree. Amanda was herself now, her true self Adephagia. “The nerve of her, turning me down tonight.” She grumbled as she floated lazily towards a grocer and she looked in it.

The store was closing, but it was open late compared to all the others in the neighborhood. No wards, most of the mages in Deseret ended up with a decent pension if they served their two years in the armed forces. The ones who didn’t tended to be well off enough as it is, so why bother with stealing. Amanda grinned while keeping in mind she had to keep it subtle enough as to not tip anyone that she was altering the food. A simple spell and she turned into a cloud of mist and slipped through cracks in the doorways.

The neighborhood grocer was well lit even at this hour and with such sparse customers. It was set up as predictable as ZCMI demanded. Fresh produce to alcove on the right, near their deli. Bakery was to the left and towards the back of the store where they sold fresh bread and desserts. The aisles in between boasted a variety of food stuff and light kitchen goods. Amanda sneered at the ‘comforting’ feel it had but appreciated the layout. It made finding the snack food and soda a lot easier.

Dodger on the other hand was looking over the fresh cheesecakes, and found herself facing a problem. What cheesecake to get? Kyna liked mint chocolate chip, whereas Sally prefered the peanut butter cup style. Finally there was her own enjoyment to consider, and Dodger loved a plain strawberry cheesecake. “Fuck, no sampler.” She scratched the back of her head and sighed loudly. She picked up a plain cheesecake and contemplated. “Should have grabbed a cart.” Using care she carried the cheesecake in one hand looking for a cart she could use. Nothing down the aisles, hell no one was here apart from that night cashier. Again the caracal sighed and headed to the front to grab a cart.

Adephagia was busying herself gesturing esoterically at the snack cakes and cookies. She felt her will gently alter the chemical structure to make them more potent. She felt her body shedding pounds to power these sigils she was miming. The lynx considered it a small price to pay to further her goals of beauty. She did enjoy the quiet though as she worked. The clerk was easy enough to distract and lay some mental fog in his head making it quite capable for him to forget a ten foot, ton plus  tall snow white Canadian Lynx in an orange wetsuit and perfectly dyed purple hair. However, Adephagia didn’t take account into Dodger.

The caracal girl was short but this lynx woman was the tallest she has ever seen. Her mouth hung agape for a bit as her mind took in all of Adephagia’s beauty. Dodger felt herself blushing as she watched the way the wetsuit accentuated every soft roll and deep wobble that threatened to swallow the marshmallow white tuft of a tail between the perfectly well rounded butt of the Lynx. Dodger felt her mind race as her mouth moved silently. ‘It couldn’t be her, Sally said this woman could not exist. Kyna was quiet about her as well. I thought she was an urban legend.’ But no, Dodger was surprised to see that yes, there was an Adephagia and she was all that and more than the caracal anthro could have imagined. Her happy moment though was cut short with a sharp blossom of pain to the back of her head. She fell forward and hit the ground as a man in a black hoodie yelled. “I got you now bitch.” Dodger didn’t see his face but she recognized his voice. He was some punk kid she chased out of the commune she lived at.

Dodger looked at the now ruined cheesecake and in her fury she kicked hard, hoping to make contact with the punk who hit her. Dodger got lucky and took out the man’s shins. He fell forward and Dodger rolled smoothly into a standing position right in front of a rather portly woman. She was a blonde human, blue eyes, freckles that stood out while she scowled. Dodger blinked and said “Hello.” Before this blonde punched her in the stomach forcing the caracal to double over in pain. “Asshole I see you brought friends.” Dodger steadied herself as what was 4 humans started to laugh.

“Yeah, you think I’m stupid enough to get in a fight with a freak like you alone? Especially after what you did to me last time?” The leader in the black hoodie went to kick her in the back of the knee, but was stopped by a deep feminine voice.

“You still seem stupid for interrupting my relaxation.” Dodger turned towards the sound and looked up at Adephagia who glared down at the four humans and herself. The lynx did not look pleased in the least. Dodger felt her mind grow foggy for a moment, but she did notice the human’s shock. “You humans, leave.”

“And what if we don-” The fat blonde started but Dodger was on top of her before she could finish. The caracal had just met someone she thought was a fantasy and she was not going to let anyone harm Adephagia at all.

“This.” Dodger said plainly. “You have to deal with me, you arrogant worm!” Dodger found her way to the blond’s shoulder and bit down tight letting her natural talent of venom pour into the blond. Dodger still felt anger and rage, but her arousal and want overpowered that still. Cosmic purple mist puffed out beyond the corners of the caracal’s mouth and pumped right into a less than willing victim. The blonde struggled and tried hard to hit Dodger but the caracal clung tight with her mouth catching the fists before they made contact with her head.

The struggling became more sluggish as the blonde ballooned outwards. The ripples of her flabby form started to turn into waves of wobbling flesh, fresh with new heavy rolls of fat. Dodger was starting to be lifted off the ground and she felt the fat cheek of the blond brush against her head. ‘Oh no. I wanted neurotoxin.’ Dodger thought briefly before realizing that she fattening someone up in front of Adephagia, the queen of gluttony and size. A smile crept across the caracal’s face and she let go of the bite.

“My my lardass, you certainly let yourself go~” Dodger taunted the blonde, as she took in her work. Pants shredded, hoodie zipper busted open to reveal a massively distressed t-shirt. “Good thing I have a soft spot for blimps like you huh?” She licked her lips and scooted closer to the girl’s face. “Pucker up.” She said with purple smoke exiting with each syllable. The blonde quivered trying to pull her face away from the caracal but it was of little use and Dodger knew that. She locked lips and just exhaled pure fattening mist into the blonde.

Adephagia had already disposed of the three other interlopers. She gently rubbed her stomach trying to ease the kicking as she stood transfixed at what was happening. It was like watching someone blow up a balloon full of jello. Adephagia smiled softly watching the caracal work that strange purple mist into her human victim. “Well, this has been an eventful trip.” The lynx commented as the human’s bra and panties finally gave up the ghost revealing soft pale flesh jiggling in vain trying to get the caracal off. “Dear, I don’t think she’s going anywhere now you know. You should at least look at the damage you have caused.”

Dodger stopped and pulled away from the blonde’s now flab buried face. She looked at Adephagia who was smiling, and slightly red. Dodger then looked at the blonde woman, and the pool of tattered clothing that lay about her. Dodger felt herself turning red, the blonde was bigger than she ever made Sally. “What happened to the others?” She shook the arousal from her mind and asked.

“They’ve been taken care of. How long have you been able to do that?” Adephagia gestured with a thick finger to the now ball of jiggling woman that Dodger straddled.

“On purpose?” Dodger rubbed her upper arm and blushed. “I’ve never really managed to do it on purpose just when I’m... “ Oh god how do I explain that I was

        “Aroused?” Adephagia ventured.

Dodger could feel her face turn cherry red and she nodded with a soft. “Yeah, that.”

Adephagia came closer and prodded the blonde’s tummy. It jiggled intensely and the blonde blob squeaked helplessly. “Color me surprised.” Adephagia said calmly. “That’s real fat tissue. Faster than I could have conjured on someone.” She rubbed her chin, cheeks wobbling slightly as the titanic lynx thought. ‘I must seek to help this girl control her power so she can use it more readily.’ She turned to find Dodger looking up at her like she was a sports star or some superhero like that ridiculous Expandagal. “Why are you looking at me like that?”

“Well, if I’m honest miss. I thought you were just an urban legend to spook the health nuts. I kinda loved hearing those stories of you, Adephagia right?” The lynx nodded, gesturing for Dodger to continue. “I, well I think I look up to you. I always found well, larger figures hotter.” Dodger blushed more and turned away. “I know that’s silly, b-”

“No no. It’s not silly. Not at all.” Adephagia interrupted, herself being taken aback by this recent development. “Just I haven’t had anyone look up to me so openly before.” The lynx crushed the self depreciating afterthought of ‘or at all’ as to not let the caracal feel alone. “You said you don’t quite know how to control your power?”

“Yeah, it’s… well generally a venom. Neurotoxic. Unless I’m aroused and then it just makes everyone well.” She slaps the blonde doughball underneath her. “You get the idea. One of my partners says it’s mildly alchemic.”

Adephagia nodded slightly rubbing her chin more before asking. “What’s your name?”

“Dodger.”

“Alright Dodger, I think I can help you get your power under control so you can use it whenever you’d like.” Adephagia offered.

Dodger felt her heart skip a few beats. “Really?”

“Yes, I just so happen to be in Deseret for a while and I may well take some time to help a beautiful girl like you get incontrol of those wonderful powers of yours.”

Dodger lept off the jiggling girl and stood right up to Adephagia’s aproning belly. “I would love to learn!” She said excitedly, realizing though Kyna’s words of warning when making a pact with anyone. “What’s the catch though.”

Adephagia grinned wickedly. “We’ll have to help blossom your own beauty a bit love.” Adephagia leaned down and pressed a sausagy finger to Dodger’s average tummy causing the caracal to blush with more intensity. “Oh? What’s wrong little kitty, is that too much?”

Dodger shook her head and gulped. Sweat beading on her forehead as her mind thought back to those high school fantasies about being as big as Sally and being with someone just as big. She realized she still wanted and lusted after a body that soft and curvy. This wasn’t a price, this was a bonus. “No, no, I just… wow. I’m just… yes I accept these terms. When do we start?”

Adephagia rested a massive hand on the caracal’s shoulder and the blobby victim. The touch was light and warm like a fireplace during the cold winter months. “Right now.” And with a flash, the three ladies were gone from the grocery store. The attendant snapped out of their waking haze to find a mess towards the dairy. It consisted of a ruined cheesecake, tattered cloth and a few drops of blood. The camera there was unable to catch what happened. All that knew what happened were gone from the scene of the crime. Tonight was the start of a beautiful relationship.
