CRITICAL MASS
The package price of the tour is based on a minimum number of participants required to confirm the departure. In some cases, we may choose to operate a tour with fewer participants.
We reserve the right to wait until 90 days prior to the tour start date to confirm or cancel a tour.
If a tour is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, all payments will be refunded in full.
SUPPLIER PAYMENTS:
Green Edventures enters into financial agreements with our suppliers well in advance of each trip’s departure to secure accommodations, transportation, activities, and other services included in your tour.
DEPOSIT:
Your deposit is a down payment toward the full package price listed on your registration and constitutes your promise to pay the entire amount of the tour cost.
Your deposit is non-refundable. The deposit is not transferable to another tour now or in the future. The deposit is not transferable to another participant.
ATTENTION: For tours in Europe (e.g. Iceland, Greenland), and Canada:
Green Edventures pre-pays suppliers before receiving participants’ payments in order to lock in favorable currency exchange rates for international destinations where contracts are priced in foreign currency. If you cancel your participation for any reason after submitting your deposit within 90 days of the tour start date, you remain responsible for the full amount of the package price as agreed at registration. Any unpaid balance will be due immediately upon cancellation.
INSTALLMENTS:
Participants pay their trips in monthly, interest-free installments that are listed on the registration contract. All installments are non-refundable.
BALANCE:
If paying in installments, the final payment is due in full 60 days prior to the tour start date unless stated otherwise in registration.
If paying the deposit and one cash installment, the final payment date will be agreed on by Green Edventures and the participant.
AUTOMATIC WITHDRAWAL:
If a registered participant misses 2 or more consecutive installments, this will be considered an automatic withdrawal from the trip, and his/her spot on the trip will be canceled without refund.
VOLUNTARY WITHDRAWAL:
A participant who wishes to withdraw from the trip must email us to confirm cancellation to avoid incurring additional fees for their reservation that continue to be made on their behalf. There are no refunds for voluntary withdrawal.

NO-SHOWS
There are no refunds for participants who are considered no-shows. A participant is deemed a no-show if they do not check in on Day 1 of a multi-day tour or by the scheduled start time of a day tour.
An exception may be made for delayed travelers who are in transit and have communicated with us regarding their status.
UNUSED SERVICES
There are no refunds or credits for any unused portions of the tour, including but not limited to activities, meals, or entrance fees.
PRE-TRIP PREPARATIONS:
Under no circumstances is Green Edventures responsible for costs incurred for pre-trip preparations including but not limited to vaccinations, visas, travel insurance premiums, etc., or travel arrangements.
