CANCELLATION POLICY
ALL PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE for the reasons listed below. As a small company specializing in group tours, cancellations have a significant impact on both our operations and the integrity of the group.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
We understand that life happens and therefore cancellations happen. Many of the reasons participants need to cancel are covered in a comprehensive travel insurance policy. Participants are encouraged to purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy to protect their travel investment and themselves. Purchase travel insurance within 14 days of your initial trip deposit date for the maximum amount of coverage options to add on to your policy including Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR).
By submitting your deposit for this trip, you acknowledge and accept the following terms:
RESERVATIONS:
Green Edventures enters into agreements with our suppliers long before the trip’s departure date. Non-refundable pre-payments are sent to our suppliers on your behalf in order to hold space for third party activities, accommodations, transportation, etc., that are advertised in the tour brochure. Additionally, in some cases, Green Edventures pre-pays suppliers to lock in currency rates for international tours.
GROUP TOURS
The package price of the tour is based on a minimum number of participants needed to confirm a tour. Cancellations affect all participants. There are no refunds or credits for unused portions of the tour including, but not limited to: activities, meals, entrance fees, etc.
DEPOSIT:
Your deposit is a down payment toward the full package price listed on your registration, and an agreement to pay in full.
Your deposit is non-refundable. The deposit is non-transferrable to another tour now or in the future. The deposit is not transferable to another participant.
INSTALLMENTS:
Participants can pay their trips in monthly, interest-free installments that are listed on the registration contract. All installments are non-refundable, and participants may be liable for the full amount of the balance due on their installment contract if they cancel during the installment period.
Participants may be able to transfer installment credits to new participants who will take their place on the tour, exclusions apply, and this is up to the discretion of Green Edventures.
BALANCE:
If paying in installments, the final payment is due in full 60 days prior to the tour start date unless stated otherwise in registration.
If paying the deposit and one cash installment, final payment is due 90 days prior to the tour start date.
AUTOMATIC WITHDRAWAL:
If a registered participant misses 2 or more consecutive installments, this will be considered an automatic withdrawal from the trip, and his/her spot on the trip will be canceled without refund.
VOLUNTARY WITHDRAWAL:
A participant who wishes to withdraw from the trip must email us to confirm cancellation to avoid incurring additional fees for their reservation that continue to be made on their behalf. There are no refunds for voluntary withdrawal.

NO SHOWS
There are no refunds for participants who are no shows. No shows are considered a voluntary withdrawal if they do not check in on Day 1 of a multi-day tour, or start time of a day tour. The exception to this, is delayed travelers who communicate with us enroute to the tour.
CRITICAL MASS:
If the group does not reach a critical mass (AKA the minimum group size) to confirm the trip within 90 days of the tour’s start date, Green Edventures reserves the right to cancel the trip, and a full refund will be issued. Do not purchase airfare or make travel arrangements until instructed to do so.
PRE-TRIP PREPARATIONS:
Under no circumstances is Green Edventures responsible for costs incurred for pre-trip preparations including but not limited to vaccinations, visas, travel insurance premiums, etc., or travel arrangements.
