Aᴅᴅɪɴɢ ᴀ Pʀɪɴᴛᴇʀ Uꜱɪɴɢ ᴛʜᴇ IP Nᴜᴍʙᴇʀ


                                   

To add a printer using the IP address (required if wireless), follow these steps:

  1. Open System Preferences and click on Print & Scan
  2. Click the plus sign at the bottom of the printer list
  3. Click IP icon at the top of the Add Printer dialogue box to open the following window.

  1. Find the Printer IP number on this Chart
  2. Enter the IP number in the Address text box
  3. Enter the description into the Name text box (i.e. WA-209-P3015)
  4. Click Add
