HUNGARIAN LEGATION

9 Princess Gate.

Thursday

Esteemed dear Master,

I am returning with thanks herewith the characteristic letter of Péter Vay.[1]

The bearer of this note is Count Koloredo [sic] Mels to whom you were kind enough to send a message that he should contact Lord Astor in connection with the thoroughbred horses. Astor has agreed to meet him [tomorrow?] and because of this, he [C.M.] wants to pay his respects to the “Maitre Immortel”

With esteem and true friendship,

Szápáry
