Please join the Middle School Student Council in their Community Service Project by STARTING TO SAVE POP TABS as they are participating in the POP TAB COLLECTION IN HONOR OF Jacy McAlexander from South Central Calhoun.  The students can bring the pop tabs to the main office.

ENROLLMENT HEALTH NEEDS:

Seventh Grade:  

**Must have a Tdap and Meningococcal immunization.  No provisional waivers can be given for the meningococcal immunization, therefore on the first day of school the student needs to have the immunization or a exemption in place.

ALL Students:

**Are required to have a Health form completed yearly.  If a student has a current health concern or food allergy the nurse will contact the parent for further information as needed.

LM will be a part of the National School Lunch & Breakfast programs called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the 2018-2019 school year.  

**All enrolled students of LM will receive a healthy breakfast & lunch at school at no charge to your household each day of the 2018-2019 school year.  

**There will be a charge if your student takes an extra serving, a la carte items, or extra milk.

**A positive lunch balance must be maintained.  When the balance is at or below $3.00, a reminder will be sent home.  No extra servings, a la carte, or extra milk is allowed when the lunch balance is negative.

Remember to save “Box Tops for Education” for our LM School!!!  Thank you to all who have brought your BOX TOPS in…please continue!!!

MAIN LOBBY DOOR SECURITY REMINDER:  A door buzzer equipped with a video camera is located on the brick near the far north door.

**The main lobby doors will be locked through the remainder of all school days after 9am.

**All students, parents, and other visitors that need to get into the building after 9am will also be required to be buzzed in through the main door. Do not open or hold open any of the doors for any student, parent, or other visitor; they must be buzzed in through the main door. All visitors during the day also need to continue to sign in at the front office as well.
