Dear Mr de László

I am giving a little dinner at Claridge’s on June 17th in celebration of the coming of age of my eldest son John.^[1] He is on the point of leaving Oxford, and he and I very much hope that you will give us the pleasure of your company on that occasion, at 8.30 p.m.
