We were so glad to get your p[ost].c[ard]. my dearest Pauly. This evening we sent you & Stef[1] a basket of tangerins [sic], which I hope you will get on Monday.
I’ve just send a long letter to Stef, ask him for it. You have been much in my thoughts, I hope you are not a ‘sadman’. Take Dr Hill’s medicines when you sit up, also Stef.
