Harry Diggle was the General Manager of the Highvacuum Valve Company, which made a product later called the Hivac valve. This valve was a miniature radio valve invented and patented by the artist's son Stephen de Laszlo [4375]. Founded in 1936, the Highvacuum Valve co. was later taken over by I.C.I.
