5th February, 1925.

Dear Mr. Chamberlin

Many thanks for your kind and appreciative letter.[1] We, too, enjoyed your presence so much and hope it is only the beginning of a long and happy continuation of meetings.

It was most kind of you to let me have the book on Mallorca.[2] I fear that this time we shall be unable to go there as we have decided to go down to the South of France as my Doctor wants me to play golf, but I hope it is only a Postponement and that our next change will be for a longer period and that I shall be able to come and see you.

If you have time - would you give us the pleasure of a visit to tea at 4.30 on Monday, the 9th.

Your book on Queen Elizabeth[3] must be a very attractive one and I will enrich my knowledge and my library with it.

Looking forward to seeing you, and with kind regards from us both.

Yours sincerely,

Editorial Note:
