Welcome ladies and Gentleman to the annual MOF Season predictions. This year will be a little different as you can see, yours truly Chris Berman has been hired by Commissioner Dypko and the MOF to write up these season predictions. I have gone through each coaches tendencies, how they would fit with the team they are coaching, and came up with these predictions. Remember guys, do not take this personal, it is all in good fun. Besides, when was the last time anyone was right on any prediction? Eh?

Hello again MOF Coaches and fans. Welcome to the Season 27 predictions!! As we get into the thick of the NFL season, we’re getting into our 2nd season under the tutelage of Madden ‘25. Season 26 saw a new champion crowned as Coach Christopher Duran in only his second season here in the MOF, won the Super Bowl with the Denver Broncos. He chose to keep the Broncos and defend his title, which will loom incredibly significant in these predictions! So who will win it all? Who will miss the playoffs? Who will earn MVP!? You will see all that in these predictions as we break down each division one by one. So let’s get started.

AFC East

Buffalo Bills: Coach Zac Hults (Woody_08) - Season 26 record: (7-9) Jacksonville Jaguars

Miami Dolphins: Coach Farad Hall (HulkSmashU) - Season 26 record: (7-9) Buffalo Bills

New England Patriots: Coach Brett Williamson (Uccbrett) - Season 26 record: (12-4) Green Bay Packers

New York Jets: Coach Alex Lievano (Latinyank77478) - Season 26 record: (11-5) New York Jets

Analysis: Another MOF season and another Latinyank coached New York Jets team! Last season Alex won the division pretty handedly with an 11-5 record and barely any competition. With the amount of talent in the league this season, it’s not going to be a cake walk for Coach Latinyank this time. The Buffalo Bills are coached by Woody_08, not only did Woody have an impressive season with the Jaguars (winning anything more than 4 games is impressive) but he subbed in for the Bears too, and almost made the playoffs. Also, the Buffalo Bills are Woody’s favorite team, and we all know how dangerous coaches are when they play with their favorite teams. The Miami Dolphins are coached by Hulksmashu who took over for Buffalo last season and wound up finishing 7-9 after taking over the team at 1-4. So expectations are high for the Miami Dolphins this season under his wing. The New England Patriots are coached by one of the more impressive guys in the league, Coach Uccbrett or Dagoldenbrett. Last season he took the Packers to the divisional playoff round after finishing 12-4. He brings a heavy dose of offense to an already offensive team, so New England will be a fun team to watch. Last but not least are the New York Jets coached again by Latinyank77478. Coach Latinyank had a solid previous season going 11-5. Some experts mention that Coach Latinyank did not beat a single team over .500 last season, and that he could struggle this season. We’ll have to wait and see, all we know is that the real Jets are getting better and better so the ratings will keep improving.

In Final: I think the two teams battling for the AFC East crown will be the Patriots and Jets. The Dolphins will end up upsetting one or both of these teams during the season, and Buffalo will unfortunately finish in the basement. I think the in-division games and the head to head matchups will determine the division winner. The other team could feasibly become a wild-card team, but I think that will be a extremely hard task.

AFC North

Baltimore Ravens: Coach Andre Scott (BigDre245) - Season 26 record: (12-4) Baltimore Ravens

Cincinnati Bengals: Coach Chris Keith (Ukcat98) - Season 26 record: (3-13) Miami Dolphins

Cleveland Browns: Coach Paul Schenk (Cedarpoint2k) - Season 21 record: (6-10) Detroit Lions *last full season*

Pittsburgh Steelers: Coach Pauly Mendes (Pauly2110) - Season 25 record: (11-5) Detroit Lions *last full season*

Analysis: The AFC North has been dominated by the Bengals over the past few seasons, with Lokidoki, Fuzzberg, and BigDre. So we’re used to seeing those orange cats in the post-season. I think this season that could change, we see two coaches from MOF past coming back to the north, with Cedarpoint and Pauly2110 who was only removed 1 season. Bigdre is back in Baltimore, and with his success last season, you can’t blame the Ravens for re-signing him. We start with the Baltimore Ravens. Coach BigDre245 went 12-4 last season with these Ravens, and it seems to be overlooked since the Bengals went 15-1. I warn you not to overlook that, Coach Dre is an extremely formidable coach that can easily get to the big dance and bring home the hardware. The Ravens have a very good offense, led by Flacco, Ray Rice, and Torrey Smith. They have everything you want on offense, and defense, and these guys are going to be the favorites when the season kicks off. The Cincinnati Bengals are played by long time Coach UKcat98. The last time he coached the Bengals, he went 11-5 in Season 22 and took the team to the divisional round of the playoffs, so coach Ukcat has some experience. The Cleveland Browns are coached by Cedarpoint2k, and although he has had his inactivity issues, he has been given one last chance by the MOF and hopefully he can stay around because he has the talent to easily succeed and especially with the Browns. Cedar has a history of over achieving with the Browns. Last but not least is good ole Pauly2110. First off, you’re going to hear this alot, but the entire league is ecstatic that Pauly is back. He bleeds life into the league, and not only is he Commissioner Dypko’s right hand man, he’s just a great guy and very well liked. The entire league continues to pray for you and your family. On the field, the Steelers are a very slow and old team, and Pauly is not going to enjoy that. However, Pauly is a defensive coach and he will figure out a way to win with them, it might be a rocky start but by the time the season ends, he should put himself in position.

In Final: This division is Baltimore’s to lose. I think the Steelers, Bengals, and Browns have too many questions coming into this season, and the Ravens and Coach Dre does not. Barring Ukcat’s return last season, and Pauly’s absence last season, he has coaches that have not consistently been here over the past few seasons, and that could take a toll. I think the Steelers, Bengals and Browns will all battle for second place, and I believe that a wild-card will come out of this division so 2nd place, is very important.

AFC South

Houston Texans: Frank Thomas (Mindenplaya) - Season 26 record: (9-7) Seattle Seahawks

Indianapolis Colts: Steve Sutton (Dagger27) - Season 26 record: (3-13) Minnesota Vikings

Jacksonville Jaguars: Raymond Savoy (Raydar) - Season 26 record: (5-11) St. Louis Rams

Tennessee Titans: Andy Matheson (Lokidoki) - Season 26 record: (15-1) Cincinnati Bengals

Analysis: The South of the AFC has been a division that has been overlooked quite a bit over the past few seasons, but they have produced some serious talent that we must take notice about. Last season Cheefer’s Colts, DeVito’s Titans, and Peezy’s Texans all won double digit games! However, when it comes to the post-season, these teams have failed since the Titans Super Bowl appearance in Season 24. This season could very well change that, with the addition of Lokidoki, who has been the front runner of some controversy but also the front runner when it comes to talent. We start with the Houston Texans who are coached by quiet guy Mindenplaya. Coach Minden took the Seahawks to the playoffs last season, after starting (1-6) he finished the season (8-1) and snuck in. His rookie season he also went 9-7 with the Jaguars in Season 25. Coach Minden is no doubt a great talent, and as he puts in his time here in the MOF he seems to be getting better. The Houston Texans though, are a diminishing team, as their Quarterback issues continue, the rest of the team is losing their ratings. So it’s going to be a challenge to say the least. The Indianapolis Colts have a new coach, Dagger27. After two seasons in a row under Cheefer, the Colts now have Dagger27. Dagger had a rough season with the Vikings in S26, going 3-13 with a very poor quarterback. Well Andrew Luck will solve that problem, and although you won’t have Adrian Peterson, they still have Trent Richardson who can run too. The Colts and Dagger could surprise alot of people this season. The Jacksonville Jaguars hired Raydar as their coach for Season 27. Raydar took the Rams to a 5-11 record after taking over for Coach Healy with a (2-3) record. We all know that the Jaguars are the worst team in the game by far, and it’s no doubt going to be a very difficult season for the rookie Raydar. All we can suggest is to keep your head up, upset a couple people and get experience under your belt! Raydar is a great addition to the MOF, and he’ll be A okay in the end. The Tennessee Titans have been a team to reckon with over the past 3 seasons (minus Season 25) and this season will be no less different under the genius Lokidoki. Coach Loki made his mark Season 25 when he took the Miami Dolphins to a division title, and the AFC Championship where he fell to the Raiders. Last season he took the Bengals to the best record in the league at (15-1) and they were a 3 point loss to the Browns away from being undefeated, however the Bengals fell to the Broncos again in the AFC Championship. Can Coach Loki make that next step this season with Chris Johnson and company? Or is Loki going to be just another great coach who can’t get the job done in the post-season? Well it’s only his 3rd season, and there is a lot more to learn about him, but the truth is that he will be one of the favorites to win the whole thing.

In Final: The Titans and Coach Loki are far and away the most talented team in this division, and I expect them to almost run away with the crown. Not only that, I do expect the Titans to earn home field advantage throughout the playoffs. The Colts and Texans will be the two teams battling for that 2nd place, and bragging rights. With that said, the 2nd place team will absolutely be in the hunt for a wild-card. The Jaguars unfortunately will be in the basement, most likely with the worst record in the MOF. Let’s just hope he doesn’t go winless.

AFC West

Denver Broncos: Christopher Duran (Bubbaduran07) - Season 26 record: (13-3) Denver Broncos

Kansas City Chiefs: Brandon Weakland (MMXcalibur) - Season 26 record: (4-12) San Diego Chargers

Oakland Raiders: Kenya Crosby (TeamKA) - Season 26 record: (7-9) Atlanta Falcons

San Diego Chargers: William Vitek (Stormdownburst) - Season 26 record: (3-13) Kansas City Chiefs

Analysis: The AFC West almost looks identical to the coaches that were here in Season 26, with the addition of Season 25’s Coach of the Raiders, KA Crosby. So familiarity is the word to describe the AFC West in Season 27. Of course we have the defending MOF champion in the division, with the team he won the Super Bowl with, the Denver Broncos and Bubbaduran07. Not only that, but the Broncos talent outweighs most of the teams here in this division. The Broncos are the team we start with here, as Coach Bubba returns to defend his Super Bowl title. Can he repeat? We all know repeating is very tough, but it’s happened a couple times here in the MOF. Betts did it twice, Dolan did it once. So it is a possibility. Peyton Manning, and all those receivers just make this team such a sexy pick to win it all again, I expect big things once again from Coach Bubba and the Broncos. The Kansas City Chiefs bring a familiar face back to the sidelines, as Coach MMXcalibur returns to Kansas City after coaching the Chargers to a terrible 4-12 season. The last time MMX had the Chiefs, was Season 22 where he took them to a 9-7 record. I expect the Chiefs to be a competitive team under MMX, but he will have to improve off last season or he will not be a threat to anyone. I expect concentration, practice, and improvement in all areas from MMX this season. The Oakland Raiders also have a familiar face back. Coach TeamKA is back in Oakland, 1 season removed from his Super Bowl loss to the Panthers, with these same Raiders. Coach TeamKA had a very rough start in Atlanta last season going (2-6) but wound up finishing the season a respectable (5-3), with some big wins. I think KA will be ready for this upcoming season, Terrelle Pryor is improving each week, and Darren McFadden is a big time threat to score anytime he touches the football. San Diego has signed Coach Stormdownburst who took the Chiefs to a 3-13 record, after taking over when the team was (0-5). So Storm is responsible for a 3-8 record with a pretty good team. So what will he do in San Diego? I’m not quite confident that he can make an impact in Southern California, Philip Rivers release is strange, and their running game needs improvement to say the least. They still have Antonio Gates, and Stormdown has had success in this league, so don’t be surprised if he does pull some upsets.

In Final: The Broncos are the favorites, and they should be. Former champ Bubbaduran will be primed and ready for a repeat. The division is almost exactly the same as last season, except he has a very tough opponent in the Raiders now and KA Crosby. The Raiders are the only real threat to the Broncos division crown, but I just think they will be a step away. The Raiders will be the 5th wild-card no doubt in my mind about that. The Chiefs will have to play above their ability to knock them off, but I see them finishing in 3rd place. San Diego is going to have a rough go at it, as they will struggle in this division and conference to beat the elite coaches.

NFC East

Dallas Cowboys: Quincy Peterson (Qpeezy35) - Season 26 record: (10-6) Houston Texans

New York Giants: Dan Holleman (Trigrdan) - Season 26 record: (9-7) San Francisco 49ers

Philadelphia Eagles: Terrance Weeks (MrRoclo) - Season 26 record: (8-8) Philadelphia Eagles

Washington Redskins: Chris Pixton (Maddenusa09) - Season 26 record: (2-14) Oakland Raiders

Analysis: The NFC East is without Coach Betts for the first time in a long time, the last time Betts was not the Washington Redskins coach was Season 20. The NFC East is usually the toughest division, season in and season out because of the talent of the teams. It should be very competitive once again with this seasons set of coaches ready to do battle. The Dallas Cowboys are coached by none other than Qpeezy35. Coming home again never felt so good for Quincy, as he comes back to Dallas for the first time since Season 24, where he went (11-5) and missed the playoffs. That seems to happen a bunch fo Qpeezy as last season he finished (10-6) and also missed the playoffs. Quincy can’t seem to catch a break, but coming into this season he is the favorite to take the division crown, so let’s hope he can do that for his sake. The New York football Giants are coached by Trigrdan this season, and Trigrdan is coming off a Super Bowl appearance with the 49ers, where he lost by the skin of his teeth 31-29 to the Broncos. Trigr did not have the best regular season, and almost didn’t win his division, finishing 9-7. However, when it comes to the playoffs, he steps it up. I expect some big things out of Trigrdan this season, and although it will be a hard fought battle for the division, it will be an even harder fight for that wild-card. The Philadelphia Eagles have brought back Coach MrRoclo after his (8-8) record a season ago. The Eagles showed some signs of greatness last season, but also showed some signs of mediocrity. Coach Roclo looks to rectify these problems as he goes into Season 27. Michael Vick or Nick Foles? That is the question. Or will he rotate them in and out? I’m not sure what he’s going to do, but I do expect the Eagles to make some noise in the NFC East this season. The Washington Redskins are coached by Chris Pixton this season, and he has some very big shoes to fill. After finishing (2-14) with the Raiders last season, he looks to bring supremacy to the Redskins, whose tradition lately has been all about winning championships. Pixton will need to dig down deep to compete in this packed division, but my gut says he will have a hard time doing so.

In Final: Dallas, Ny Giants, and Philadelphia. You’re going to see all 3 of these teams hold first place for a certain amount of time at least once this season. I think all 3 coaches and teams are very evenly matched. I am leaning towards Dallas, only because when you play with your favorite team, there’s a higher power sometimes helping you out. Any one of these 3 teams can also earn the wild-card, which is going to be a tough challenge in the NFC this season. As far as the Redskins, I really hope Maddenusa makes Betts proud, but I have a feeling that he’ll be receiving some hate mail by Week 6.

NFC North

Chicago Bears: Chris Cheefer (CheeferD) - Season 26 record: (13-3) Indianapolis Colts

Detroit Lions: Commissioner Dypko - Season 26 record: (12-4) Dallas Cowboys

Green Bay Packers: Brad DeVito (rMossIsDirty) - Season 26 record: (12-4) Tennessee Titans

Minnesota Vikings: Josh Nelson (Krayzie300) - Season 26 record: (3-13) New Orleans Saints

Analysis: The NFC North is given the “Toughest Division In The League” label this season, as we see three teams that made the post-season last season with a combined record of 37-11. However, none of these teams could deliver in the playoffs, and altough Coach Cheefer and Dypko both won playoff games, neither of them could make it to the big dance. Including rMossIsDirty, all three coaches look to take that next step forward, even if it means beating each other down in the process. The Chicago Bears are coached by CheeferD this season, and the last few seasons he has been with the Indianapolis Colts and have had a lot of success. (13-3) last season, and (10-6) in Season 25, Cheefer is used to winning. With the Bears, they have a very balanced offense and a nice defense so he should continue his winning ways in Season 27. The Detroit Lions are coached by the good ole’ Commissioner Dypko. Dypko has really turned the corner and has had one of the best records over the past 11 or so seasons. Last season he looked like he was primed and ready for a Super Bowl appearance, only to be knocked off by Trigr’s 49ers. This season he will have an even better offense, with Calvin Johnson and Reggie Bush. It will be interesting to see Dypko play with this team, as he went 9-7 a few seasons ago in Motor City. The Green Bay Packers are coached by rMossisDirty, or Brad DeVito to the newbies. Coach DeVito made his return to the MOF after a 14 season hiatus, only to go 12-4 with the Titans! DeVito is a very good coach and now with an even better team, he should really have a lot of success with these guys. DeVito is easily one of the favorites to come out of this division, and even the conference. The Minnesota Vikings welcome home Coach Krayzie300. Krayzie last coached the Vikes in Season 25 and went (7-9). Krayzie had a very poor season last season, with the Saints, where he won just 3 games. With a worse offensive team, expectations are not too high for Coach Krayzie’s Vikings. However, Adrian Peterson should beast some people, and win games by himself!

In Final: This is going to be one of the if not the most exciting division in the league this season. Any one of the big three could easily win the division, or earn the wild-card, and I believe all three teams will be in the playoffs. If one of the three, lose more division games than the other, that will be the crushing blow to their playoff chances. So all division games will be a must win for these guys. I’m leaning towards the Bears winning the division, with the Packers and Lions earning the wild-card. This could easily swap, but I think the odds of all 3 teams making it, are very good.

NFC South

Atlanta Falcons: Thomas Betts (NYRedskins35) - Season 26 record: (12-4) Washington Redskins

Carolina Panthers: Damon Clark (Dpanther95) - Season 26 record: (4-12) New York Giants

New Orleans Saints: Ron Clark (IGotASxyWife) - Season 26 record: (5-11) Pittsburgh Steelers

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Vinny Caturano (Youngcat21) - Season 25 record: (13-3) New York Giants *last full season*

Analysis: Another very interesting division, as we see 3 former MOF Champions in one division! We see the return of Youngcat and we see Coach Betts trying to win with a team other than the Redskins. We also see another coach moving away from his comfort zone as IGotASxyWife goes to the Saints instead of the Steelers. However, we see the return of Coach Dpanther in Carolina, and all seems right in the world once again. The Atlanta Falcons, as mentioned, are coached by NYRedskins35 , or Coach Betts. He is obviously used to the Redskins, as he’s been there since Season 21, and alot before that too. However, the last few seasons haven’t been as dominant by Betts. Sure he won 4 Super Bowls, and repeated twice over the years, but last season he was knocked out of the playoffs in the first round, and in Season 25 he missed the playoffs altogether. Are we seeing the demise of Coach Betts dominance in the MOF? The Falcons are going to be an adjustment period, and when you’re in the same division as Coach Youngcat, you’re going to have some problems. I do expect the Falcons to challenge for the division, and the wild-card though. The Carolina Panthers are back with Coach Dpanther, and no one is happier than Dpanther. Cam Newton, that up and coming defense, these guys are much better from when Dpanther last coached them in Season 22 to a (2-14) record. We all realize that Coach Dpanther isn’t the best coach in the league, and he does usually finish towards the bottom 5. However no one can compete with Dpanther’s sportsmanship, and his dedication. He’s stayed one of the most dedicated coaches through all of his losing seasons, and we commemorate that. Given that, I don’t expect Carolina to compete too much here. The New Orleans Saints welcome Coach IGotASxyWife to the team. Coach Ron has been a part of the Steelers organization almost every season he’s been here, but his utter disgust with the team last season has led him to leave and come to the Big Easy. The Saints offense is without question one of the most high powered in the league, and he’s going to need all of the offense he can get in a division with Betts and Youngcat. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have brought back Coach Youngcat21 to the MOF. Coach Youngcat was coaching the Bears last season and had to take a leave of absence after going (4-2). This game might have caught up a bit with Youngcat, but we believe he has the skills to to return to Youngcat form and really compete for the division and the conference. The only question Tampa Bay has is at Quarterback. Mike Glennon will have to be the one who leads this team, and that could turn into an issue.

In Final: This is going to be a 2 ½ team race. The Bucs, Falcons, and Saints for half the season. I believe the Saints will be improved, but it comes to a point where your schedule is too tough, and the skills showed last season, makes me believe the Saints will fall out of the division race by Week 8 or 9. The Falcons and Buccaneers will fight, and it will be one for the ages. I believe the loser of the battle, will miss the playoffs entirely. Especially with the tough NFC East and North. I am giving the edge to the Buccaneers, because, well, Betts is starting to lose his way a little bit, and he’s going to need to prove to the MOF that he can rise above. The Panthers unfortunately are in a very tough division, and although I think he will surprise some people, I think he’ll finish last.

NFC West

Arizona Cardinals: Rafael Morales (Rmorales26) - Season 25 record: (3-13) Cleveland Browns *last full season*

St. Louis Rams: John Pettigrew (Pettigrew95) - Season 26 record: (7-9) Detroit Lions

San Francisco 49ers: Trev Pappas (Trevpap) - Season 26 record: (1-15) New England Patriots

Seattle Seahawks: Jason St. Hilaire (Whosnext83) - Season 26 record: (11-5) Cleveland Browns

Analysis: The NFC West has been one of the weaker divisions in recent seasons. The last two seasons the division winner was (9-7) and (8-8) respectively. I think that will change this time with Coach Whosnext under center with the Seahawks. Luckily Coach Whosnext received the #1 overall pick in the draft, even after going (11-5) with the Browns and missing the playoffs last season! The rest of the division better hurry and catch up to Whosnext’s skills, or they’ll be asking, who’s next. The Arizona Cardinals have hired Coach Rmorales or Sincere4 to some of you. Coach RMorales last played in Season 25 under the Browns, where he finished (3-13). The MOF staff has reached out to Morales about his activity, since he seems to lack that sometimes, but we’re looking forward to seeing Morales turn the corner, and finishing out the season. The bad news is that he is the Cardinals, and the MOF calls this the “Arizona Challenge”. Only two playoff appearances in 26 seasons for the Cards. I think that will stretch to 27. The St. Louis Rams welcome rookie Coach Pettigrew95 to the team. Pettigrew took over the Lions last season from a (1-2) record and brought them to a (7-9) record. He showed some signs of life in some games, and won some great ones. We look for a good season out of Pettigrew, hopefully he doesn’t have too many problems with the Rams offense. No runningback is really going to hurt his season. The San Francisco 49ers are coached by Trevpap this season. Coach Trev had a very bad season with the Patriots last season, only winning 1 game and losing 15. However, it is very difficult to lose with the 49ers. They are solid at almost every single position on the field, and given that fact alone, he will win 4 or 5 games by default. If he can muster up 4 or 5 more on his own, he will be a wild-card contender. It’s going to take alot of work, but I think Trev is ready to turn the corner with one of the best teams in the game. The Seattle Seahawks are coached by Whosnext83. Coach Whosnext took the Browns last season to an (11-5) record, which is extremely impressive. However, he did not make the playoffs, which is a travesty! Given that fact , wound up luckily earning the #1 pick in the draft, where he went right to Seattle. The Seahawks are arguably the best team in the game, other than the 49ers, and they have very few weaknesses. I expect the Seahawks to run away with this division and clinch it by Week 10 or so. .

In Final: Like we mentioned above, the Seahawks are easily the favorites in this division. The talent combined with the coaches talent is far and away better than the rest of the division. I expect the 49ers to make some noise, possibly win some “unwinable” games and be in the running for a wild-card. The Rams and Cardinals i believe have already been eliminated from playoff contention.

SEASON XXVII PREDICTIONS
