Dear Mr. Holme,
I have received the two books, for which many thanks. They are just the articles I wanted to see, as the earlier one, of October 1901,[1] was the cause of my first meeting with your Father,[2] and from that day our friendship began.
I will send you back the books in a few days, with the article which it gives me great pleasure to write for you.[3]
May I ask you if you intend to reproduce with it the portrait of your Father which I painted [5776], as I may allude to it?
