Lab 1 - sculpture / scene

Your task is to build a complex sculpture or scene from multiple objects in Blender, using the skills you learned in class.  

If it’s not obvious from your sculpture / scene, make sure you can show or explain how you did each of the following:

• add different kinds of objects
• rotate objects
• scale objects
• move objects
• add color to objects
• save a render view to your Y: drive

Upload your render view in Google Classroom (at classroom.google.com).

• Open the assignment using the OPEN button
• Find the ADD dropdown and choose File
• Click the center button (it says something like “upload from your computer”)
• To find your render:

• Click on Computer
• Double-click your name
• Double-click the name of your file (it ends in .png)

• Click Upload
• Click Turn In (twice)

Blender

Blender is free 3D modeling/animation software.  If you’d like to download Blender onto your home computer, go to www.blender.org.  We are using version 2.75 in class.
