Sarah Brooklyn and Tom, were given a tour at the haunted house on Queens Rd. They wanted to find out if the place was still haunted or not. They were enjoying their time there, until the door slammed hard against the door frame. The floor creaked as Sarah, Brooklyn and Tom stood in silence. Sarah tried to walk up to the door in the darkness. Every step she took made a louder creak. She tried to open the door, but it was locked.

They hoped that they’d make it out before the sun set. They heard voices coming from upstairs. They wandered around looking for a way out. The wall was old and dusty. They tried finding windows but they were jammed against the window frame. The sun was still out so they had time to get out of the house. They found a staircase and decided to walk up. Sarah was brave, but Tom and Brooklyn were shaking. They heard voices from upstairs. The more steps they took the louder the voices. They thought they were ghosts. They were beginning to believe the house was still haunted. The floor creaked and sounded like it was going to fall apart.

When they got to the top they saw shadows. Tom and Brooklyn were about to pass out. Sarah was a little scared but still walked on. Tom and Brooklyn followed Sarah. They entered a room with 2 beds. There was blood everywhere. They saw someone sitting on the bed.

It was a man. He stared at Sarah, Brooklyn and Tom. Sarah was scared but decided to talk to the man. “Who are you?” Sarah said. The man stopped staring and answered back. “I am Ben, I have been stuck in this house for a long time.” He had a dark voice but looked like a kind man. “I will be out of here before you. People left me here stuck for years. I had some food and water with me but I ran out.” He sounded selfish and wanted to get out of the haunted house for himself. Suddenly, they heard cracking noises.

 The floor boards sounded like it wasn’t stable. Tom took another step. The floor boards broke and he fell in. Half of the house was wobbling like jelly. Tom tried to get out but it only made him worse. He was so scared that he was speechless. The house almost fell apart. Everyone couldn’t move. They waited, and it was silent. Brooklyn decided to take a big step. half of the house fell to the ground. They were all shocked at what happened. They were so shocked they didn’t realise that they could go.

A few minutes later they all screamed “WE’RE FREE!” They were all overwhelmed and run for their lives. The man just stood there staring at them. Ghosts came out of the other half of the house, waiting for their next victims.
