STUDENT BLOG GUIDE
SPRING 2015
COURSE: MIS
As a student of this class, you must create at least one blog post for the course blog and make 9 comments on other blog posts.
BLOG POST:
- The Professor will provide you with the date you must provide a blog post.
- Use your email to create the blog. Your blog post can include links and photos.
- The subject line of your email will be the subject of your post.
- The first line of your email should be your complete name preceded by the word "BY:"
- For Example: BY: John Wilson
- The subject of your post can be about a recent class, speaker, class discussion, additional information you would like to add and/or a business idea related to the recent class. Keep the comments clean and keep the "hating" to a minimum. I would like to see positive and or helpful criticism.
- You can add article links, photos and video links within your post
- Once you finish your blog: spell check it and check for grammar
- Email your finished post to: misspring2015.morehouse@blogger.com
- You will review your post and then email it. Once I review it, I will post it. Do not send it as an attachment or a link. Place your content in the message area and your title in the subject line. Embed the links and images within your content that is located in the email message area.
TO COMMENT:
- You will receive 2 points for each comment that receives a passing grade. You can receive up to 18 points during the semester. You can make as many comments as you like, but only the first three every month (February, March & April) will count.
- Go to our blog site: http://www.hba322.info
- Read the blog posts created by your classmates and your professor and write a comment.
- To post a comment, you must be logged in. See the First Day Pre-recorded video for more details. Also check the How To Tab (FAQ) for additional video instructions.
- To pass, the comment must be clean, have content that furthers the discussion and show that you understand the subject. It could include a link to additional information. But you must talk about why that additional information is helpful to the discussion and do not just show a link.
