‘together we are stronger’

What’s happened this week ?

Sea Sanctuary Garden

Grand Opening

On Thursday this week the children were all busy designing and making bunting to decorate the Sea Sanctuary Garden in preparation for the grand opening on Tuesday 2nd May @14:00

We’d love you to join us for the celebrations if you are able to.

Things to remember

Our third Mathemagician Event coming soon!

Theme: Division

Tuesday 16th May @9:05-11:15 Parents welcomed into school to see the strategies used for division and join your child in class. The last one which took place last half term morning and focused on multiplication was very positively received. The ‘making a counting stick’ workshop session seemed to go down particularly well.

The whole school population become gardeners!

A huge thank you to everyone who has been busy nurturing the seeds which came home before the Easter holiday. They are looking healthy and will soon be ready to be planted outside once the risk of frost has passed.

The Sea Sanctuary Garden

Join us @ 14:00 on Tuesday 2nd May for the Grand Opening of the Sea Sanctuary Garden.

The programme for the entertainment is currently being finalised but will include:

A live Ceilidh band to accompany the children’s country dance (which they have been hard at work learning), opening ceremony with BBC Radio 4 gardener Alan Gray and relax in the garden with a truly delicious and quintessential afternoon tea!
