Create a Student Assignment Folder

An Assignment folder is a ‘dropbox’ into which your students can add Panopto videos they have recorded, or videos they have created outside of Panopto.  Videos stored in the Assignment folder will automatically appear in your Bb course (depending on the options you set).

Before you Begin

Have you Configured your Bb course for Panopto?

If not,  Instructions are here!!!

Create an Assignment Folder from within Blackboard

Enter your Blackboard course

Click the Tools/Communication menu area > Select Panopto Content

Click the Settings icon -- to access the settings for your folder.

Click Create Assignment folder

Click the X at the top right to save your Assignment folder. This will save your folder.

Viewing  Videos Students Add to the Assignment Folder

 Log into Blackboard and open your course

Click on Tools/Communication on the course menu > Select Panopto Content

Click on the Assignment Folder

You should see a list of all the videos added to the Assignment folder.

Click on the video(s) you want to view.
