- Please ensure that your children have an instrument at home to practice with. We are introducing a lot of new technique that need to be able to practice at home
- Communication is critical! Please make sure your student knows that they can approach Dr Dakon
- Dr Dakon does play all 4 instruments. He is generally available afterschool for help until 430 daily
- Grading is mostly done through performance assessment (40% of grade) (alternating in class vs out of class assessments)
- Summative (Concerts and larger performance) . If a child has to miss a concert due to extenuating circumstances they play the whole concert by themselves for Dr Dakon
- Final: PLaying/listening/music theory
