VOLUNTEERS FOR GED PROGRAM
Volunteer as a tutor with our adult GED program, held on Wednesday evenings from 7pm-9pm. If you’d like to help students with math and literacy lessons as they study for their GED, email the program coordinator, Penelope Brackett, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
M-F (9am-12pm or 12-4pm)
CHURCH OFFICE HELP
We are looking for volunteers available during weekday office hours to sit at the front desk and answer phones, take messages, receive mail, and greet visitors. Morning and afternoon shifts are available.
WEEKLY HELP to TIDY PEWS
Do you have a bit of time to help keep our sanctuary neat and tidy for services each week? We are looking for a volunteer to help straighten Bibles, hymnals, cards, and pencils in each of the pews.
CO-LEADER AND VISITORS for FIRST FRIENDS
First Friends advocates and runs visitation programs for asylum seekers held in the Elizabeth Detention Center. We are looking for a co-leader to partner with Maggie Tuohy to help coordinate the schedule of visitors to asylum seekers. We are also looking for volunteers who would like to visit asylum seekers
VOLUNTEERS for CHILDCARE
We are looking for volunteers to provide childcare for children who are crawling through age 3 during our Education Hour at 9:30am and during our 10:30 am worship service. We need an adult church member to assist our staff for each 1-hour time slot on Sundays.
HOSPITALITY GREETERS on SUNDAY
Want to get to know more members of the Morrow Church community? We are looking for volunteers to greet people on Sunday mornings and serve coffee after worship in Fellowship Hall.
