Mount Rushmore Creative Assessment

Congratulations! You have been selected to be a committee member of the new Mount Rushmore project.  It is your job to come up with 4 people who have made an impact on the United States as we know it today.  You will nominate 4 people who have made a contribution to our country..  We are trying to represent a more diversified presentation as we have had many contributors besides presidents who have made a difference to our nation.  The selection group would like to set some parameters to help us meet the goal of this project.

Day 2:  Finish exploring people and come up with your 4 nominees and begin to research information about your people.  You will need to complete the note form for all 4 people.  Yes, you need 3 sources for each person you research.  You should be through researching your 1st person. Remember you have to explain (3 supporting facts) on the impact your person has had on the United States.  

Day 3:  Note check on first person.  Continue to research.

Day 4: Script Writing and begin to put it all together (Tech time).   Homework:  Do your recording at home where it is quieter.

Day 5:  LAST DAY to work in class.  Project is due ______________.
