- Lense of STEAM can be too limiting. Design thinking transcendent. Put question first. Muck around in the question. discovery
- Parent conference experience is not great (from parent survey)
- Different groups (student, parent, teachers) discuss what they want out of conference
- Discovery and empathy (who is involved and what they need)
- Interpretive phase, then ideation phase (generate ideas)
- One outcome-choose your own type of conference: in person, phone, advisor only, child at conference, etc…
- Surveys after to improve on model

Dan Riles is using Weebly to do digital portfolio. They are public (They used Google Sites last year and didnít like it) Ced at Fessenden uses Google Sites but with a template “Teacher Dashboard”
Jen at BB&N have experimenting with Evernote as a way to publish content to parents.
Schools doing 3D Printing via minecraft, at Makerís fair (Makerbot is the most expensive 3D printer)

Must use a pen instead of touch but can be used with anyoneís software such as SmartNotebook on a whiteboard
Explain Everything on the iPad is a good tool to review again.

Update our Apple TVs to the latest version of software that came out 2 weeks ago. It adds “conference room” display. You can name your Apple TV and it will display the name. Go to Airplay and then Conference Room Display
Enroll Apple TV into Casper to do updates??
