WOLMER WOOD,
MARLOW COMMON,
MARLOW, BUCKS.
April 23rd 1926.
My very dear friend
I was delighted to get your letter this morning and to hear that you are really on your way home. It is time you shed the light of your presence on us again – you have been away too long.[1] Mrs de Laszlo has told me much about your triumphal progress in America and I hope to hear more details from you when I turn up, as is, I am glad to say, fixed up, on Tuesday next. I will do my best to get to Fitzjohn’s Avenue by tea time so that I can have a chance to get a real talk with you.
I hope to find you in the best of health and spirits and none the worse for your strenuous work during the last few months.
So, till Tuesday – | always yours
A.L. Baldry.
