Supervised children age ranging from 3-12 during a spiritual leadership camp.Children would be on a schedule and would be incorporated with crafts, outdoor recreation, bible studies, archery and swimming.

Accomplishments

• Incorporated a variety of teaching mediums to engage diverse methods of a child’s learning style.

Group Leader, Sweet Pea Society

Fallston, MD — 2008-2010

School Age Teacher for children 5-12, created and implemented lessons that were relevant to the theme of the week. Schedule and manage field trips, as well as transport the children to and from the field trip.

• Effectively implementing and delivering lesson plans to the appropriate grade level.
• Demonstrating behavior management skills to keep the children on a consistent and routine schedule.

Special Education/Health Teacher, Elkins Mountain School

Create Individualized Education Plans for children with Other Health Impairment and Behavior Disorder. Meeting with students weekly to discuss weekly goals and if on the right path to complete and make progress towards annual goals. Create lesson plans regarding nutrition, and different body systems to three health classes; grading, behavior management skills.
