Refund, returns and replacement pricing policy

1. Refunds for individual customers purchasing from us directly

Faulty goods

Sometimes customers believe a DS1 is faulty if for example they don’t have good internet reception or if they have other problems with their car. Usually, it’s not the DS1 at fault as they are tested before they are sent out and info@dynospectrum.com can help customers through any initial issues. If a DS1 is faulty, the customer will be offered a replacement. If a refund occurs due to faulty goods, we will not deduct our shipping fees or payment processor fees from the refund.

Change of mind

We will refund a customer for a DS1 within 30 days of the date of purchase if the customer changes their mind and the DS1 is unused.

The value of the DS1 only will be refunded, not the shipping cost (whether the shipping was free/included or not) or any payment processor fees we do not recover.

Refunds will not be given under any of the following conditions

Proof of purchase will be required from the customer. Only the direct customer may be refunded, not a third party.


2. Prices for replacement DS1s

DS1 bought for a car that was totalled/written off and the customer asks for a discount for a DS1 for a new car

DS1 for returning customer for a new car and wants a DS1 for it

Replacement DS1s for the same car at vastly reduced prices will be married to the same car and are not resellable for or transferrsable to another car even if not used.

3. Refunds for dealers and their customers

Dealers can decide their own refund policy for DS1s taking the following points into account.

  1. Dyno Spectrum Ltd will credit or refund a dealer if a DS1 is faulty. We will refund the dealer. The dealer will return the faulty DS1 at their own expense
  2. If a dealer’s customer isn’t happy within 30 days of receiving their DS1, and they return it to the dealer without having used it, the dealer can resell it
  3. If a dealer’s customer isn’t happy within 30 days of receiving their DS1, and they return it to the dealer having used it, the dealer or their customer should return the DS1 to an address in the Isle of Man or the USA, whichever is most convenient, at their own expense.
  4. The dealer will deal with their customer directly. Dyno Spectrum Ltd will deal with the dealer only

4. Return locations

The customer will be asked to return the DS1 to an address in the USA or Isle of Man (British Isles), whichever is most convenient, at their own expense. If the package will cross a customs border (usual if outwith the US or UK), the customer must state on the shipping paperwork that the product is a CUSTOMER RETURN exempt from import duty so that we’re not charged import duty/VAT on our own returned product.
