Position: After School Program Assistant

Overview: The Program Assistant will support Sky View’s school program by assisting in a high quality program designed to foster student success and growth in all areas. Daily availability during BASE hours is required.

Responsibilities: 

• Assist the Before and After School Enrichment (BASE) Director and Leaders in completing all requirements for child care; follows Rules regulating School-Age Child Care Centers .
• Follow all procedures as stated in the Employee and Parent Handbooks
• Assist the Base Director and Leaders with program delivery as required
• Assist in supervision at recess. Be focused primarily on student safety
• Supervise and support with homework and enrichment program
• Assist the BASE Director and leaders in all aspects of the BASE program
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Assistants must be 16 years of age or more.

Three positive references and background checks will be required

Remuneration: 

Hourly, current rate will be discussed at interview
