Professional Development Days:

1 day to be added to calendar in 2016-2017 @ 0.6%

1 additional day added in 2017-2018 with 0.6% in compensation.  (Two days total)

Article 18:  Unit Member Benefits

$600/year increase in District contribution to pay for health insurance premiums.

$110/year increase in District contribution to pay for dental insurance premiums.

$210/year increase in District contribution to in lieu payments.

Article 5:  Transfer and Reassignment Procedures

Language was updated to comply with recent legislation.  After April 15th, open positions must be posted to outside applications.

Article 6:  Evaluation
Language was updated on the composition and tasks of the Evaluation Committee.

Article 11:  Leaves
Updates to language on personal leaves were made.  Also, new language reflecting changes in law regarding family leave was added.

Article 12:  Safety Conditions of Employment
Language was revised clarifying the makeup and roles of the Safety Committee, emergency procedures, & paraeducator supervision.

Article 14:  Duty Hours
The District and WTA updated language on preparation time, daily schedules, & recesses.

Article 14A:  Shared Contracts
A minor change that includes early childhood educators in shared contracts was agreed upon.

No change to current language.

Class Size

No change to current language.
