  4. Review vocabulary terms by asking the following questions: Which picture shows a seed? Where would you put the seed so it will grow? What does the seed turns into once it begins to grow? Why do you think the plant is called a seedling? How does the plant changes when is fully grown?
  5. Have the children watch “Sid the Seed.”
  6. Discuss the life cycle of a plant.
  7. Distribute juice containers, soil, and seeds.
  8. Have the children choose a seed and plant it.
  9. Discuss how are the children going to take care of the plant.
