This program, funded in part by a CSEd grant* will improve our ability to support teacher leaders by giving them the time they need to explore, feel comfortable with and develop integrated lessons, common language and instructional materials to empower a student population that is computer science literate. By allowing students access to computer science learning activities at the primary and intermediate grade levels, our district will begin to address the necessity of building this timely culture of learning.  We will begin to see students in classrooms utilizing coding, apps, and robotics as tools when creating solutions to authentic problems, and being the change agent for increasing the demand for pathways and opportunities within computer sciences at the secondary level.
