I have received your letter with enclosed £2, for which I thank you very much indeed.^[1] Please convey my thanks to Mr de Laszlo for his kindness. I am sorry he has no work, in [view?], but shall be grateful if he will remember me, should he have some on his return to England. At present I have had to take a job as Kitchen Porter, at an Ice Club in Page St Westminster. — Anything to bring some money in, but you can imagine how glad I shall be to get back to my own
