Greetings aggravated Gallus Gallus Domesticuses!

I've been hearing a great deal of lamenting regarding the release schedule of the new expansion, including from the TAC crew. Yet the content creator community seems to like this type of release due to them being able to reveal some of the cards and get additional views and traffic. My question is what kind of release schedule would make both groups happier, and when will Blizzard give the TAC crew a card to reveal so you too can enjoy the release?

Matt

Hello TAC Crew,

Because of work I was only able to catch the opening ceremony at Blizzcon. While I am of course excited for new heroes for Overwatch and HotS and the new Hearthstone expansion but basically was all things I was expecting. Nothing surprising. Today I went back and checked out the Hearthstone panel notes on HearthPWN and it seemed like there was only talk about the expansion.

I guess I was hoping for some sort of talk about their long term vision for the game. In the end Blizzard seems to have played it safe this year. New cards are great but was hoping for something more.

Since you all were there did I miss something I should be looking forward to in the coming year?

As always thanks for the top notch show. Love listening every week.

Hey Feathered Friends

A few episodes ago you chatted about allowing a single card to be carried over from one release period to another and while I agreed with you on the outcome (it was a fun idea with sadly unintended consequences) I did get me thinking....

What if we could have a Hearthstone equivalent of a the WoW achievement “What A Long, Strange Trip It’s Been” that gives folks the option of doing things throughout the year that effectively add cards to the Standard set in the current release cycle (that is, not the classic set to allow them to rotate out, but not necessarily the current pack-set... maybe more like Promo cards?). The completion of the each year's 'trip' could award the 'YEARLY' Legendary. Specifically, this year it would (dare I say it) Unleash the Kraken (Golden of course) and as we already know, next years would be A Golden Unicorn, and so forth.

Anyway, just thought it would be nice to tie in the 'Year' to something more than just the name of the game period.
