Dear JYP Entertainment,
We, STAYs, are writing to bring awareness of our concerns with recent collaborations involving people who are zionists and support Israel’s illegal occupation and ongoing efforts to eliminate Palestine and the innocent civilians that live there.
We ask that your company divest from Zionism, including artists and brands who support these harmful views, as they go against STAYs values as human beings.
As a result, STAYs do not support the recent collaboration, “Lose My Breath,” Stray Kids has with Charlie Puth. Charlie Puth a known zionist, supporting the active genocide taking place, among other morally questionable stances he has publicly mentioned in the past regarding women.
STAYs feel that these remarks do not align with Stray Kids and furthermore can not support someone who is in support of an ongoing genocide. We know the song has already been made and must be promoted, but after the period of promotions, we ask that the song is not put on any future setlists or albums aside from the CD single.
Additionally, there are many luxury brands associated with Stray Kids that support Zionism; these brands are Tommy Hilfiger and LMVH and Louis Vuitton, among others. It is one thing to donate to support the people in Israel from the damage on October 7th, but what about the countless, innocent Palestinian lives being lost every day since then?
STAYs urge you to be more mindful when doing projects with artists in the future, if they support such cruel acts against innocent people, and propel the work being done with brands like Alexander McQueen and Versace.
We kindly ask you to take our concerns seriously and strive for positive change moving forward that reflects a humane and moral code.
Thank you for your time,
STAY
