Dear Stalkers,
Just before the game, we promised ourselves that we would take a month off from the event and the tireless preparation, meetings and crafting sessions.
We apologize in advance for what may seem like a delay to you, but we needed this time in order to be able to hold several meetings in which we did a full organizational debrief of the game.
We want to start with the first and most important thing, namely: thank you to all our old and new players for your trust and participation in this game!
We received a lot of good feedback about the game, especially regarding the lore, the quest lines, the props, the general ambiance, the new zombie system, the PDA zone, the costumes, the food, and so on, and we are really glad that a huge part of the players on the field appreciated our work and the desire to make a difficult, but yet immersive game. However, the purpose of this post is far from bragging, nor to point out what our players praised.
We want to be absolutely honest with you with the fact we received some not-so-good feedback and tried our best to talk to as many people as possible in order to get an objective assessment of what was done.
- We realized that the terrain was too large for this number of players and one vehicle on the field was not enough for all of us. We already have several new solutions to this problem.
- At the beginning of November, temperatures dropped more sharply than what was expected and predicted by the weather forecast. Despite everything, we decided to take a risk and make the game, with the clear idea that night temperatures would rather lead to discomfort for some players than to be an additional natural and immersive element of the game. And despite our warnings about the cold that awaits us during the game, it is undeniable - it was frankly unpleasant at night. We have already concluded solutions to this problem as well.
- We would like to publicly apologize to our friends from the OMEGA faction. Unlike the other factions, there were 4 NPCs in OMEGA. Two of whom were part of the organizing team and had other NPC functions on the field, and the other two were players with, let’s say, semi-NPC roles. And since OMEGA, unlike any other faction, was left without an official GM, this led to a series of communication breakdowns between the NPCs and the organizers. This turned out to be a major obstacle in the game and we take full responsibility for not repeating such major misunderstandings in future. We will not allow again for some of our players to feel like NPCs, without being given such a role by an organizer. OMEGA, we apologize to you for standing at the checkpoint almost the entire time, even though it has been said plenty of times by the organizers that you should have a representative only if a group with reputation is gathered in front of the gates. We also apologize to the players who waited too long in front of the checkpoint. It was planned that the groups should’ve been allowed to enter Zone 1 much easier and faster.
- We received advice from some players for a more enhanced PVP element and we fully agree that it should be present in the game. We will try to open up more space and reasons for such interactions to happen, but despite everything, we want our game to have a minimal script and, if possible, not to be clearly visible by the players. Our players have always been free to turn on each other at any time, without necessarily being allowed or restricted to do so by an organizer. This is a LARP game and if you respect the general & safety rules you are free to improvise and do whatever feels adequate for your character.
- We understood that many of you have gathered resources just in time to get your PDA devices. To be fair, we did not expect such a huge interest and quick mobilization on your part and we only made 30 devices. For the next game, we will try to double the number of PDA.
- The ticket system will be much renewed and easier and we are already working on its optimization.
- Regarding registration, receiving your starter packs, tickets and weapon checks: from now on, each of these will be received at separate tables and by separate people, to avoid delays and crowding.
- We received some criticism for the limited ammo at the beginning of the game and the ban on 24/7 automatic fire. We apologize to everyone, but this will remain so. We repeat again that this is a LARP game, not airsoft. And if new larp players with many years of experience in airsoft have managed to get dirty, have fun, find/kill or rob someone to get ammo and have made their game enjoyable, then it is possible.
Many more decisions, suggestions and realizations were made by the organizing team, but this post risks becoming too long. Nevertheless, your opinion is valuable to us and we have prepared this short anonymous survey:

We promise to go through the feedback of each of you, regardless of whether it is positive or negative. This will be a priority topic for us, and we will discuss the decisions at our next general meeting.
Last but not least - we know you are expecting photos as soon as possible. Our photographers promised that this will happen after the New Year. Let's respect their personal and professional time and be patient. We are sure that in the end it will be worth it.
And once again, you all are wonderful! A deep bow from us for your dedication and presence! Until next time!
