DeWitt Middle School - 2016-17

GRADE 6

A folder with pockets will be needed for the Odyssey class (any color).  Because of limited locker space, the large 3-ring binders or zip-up binders are not recommended.  A tall metal shelf is good to extend the life of your books and binders in addition to providing a little extra space.

Literacy:  3-ring binder (1  in.), plenty of #2 pencils, loose leaf wide ruled paper (not College ruled) and a box of Kleenex.

Math:  3-ring binder( 2 inch), 1 set of dividers with pockets, loose-leaf paper and  #2 pencils.

Science:  3-ring binder with pockets (1 1/2 – 2 inch), package of tabbed dividers, loose-leaf paper, #2 pencils and 2 boxes of Kleenex (optional)

Social Studies: 3-ring binder (1 inch), paper and #2 pencils.

Art:  Small supply box, pencils (mechanical or wooden), 1 big eraser, 2 black Sharpie markers (fine-point only, not ultra-fine), 1 box of Crayola markers and 1 box of Crayola colored pencils.

Gen. Music:   Notebook, #2 pencils, $5.00, and hand sanitizer.
