Tamia Hurst - Secretary
As a stay-at-home mom, I love trying to keep up with my three boys. Our family moved to Cortez in May of 2011 after my husband completed his Pharmaceutical Doctorate degree in Laramie, WY. Neal and I both grew up in the four corners area and were delighted to move back “home.” Strongly believing in being involved in my children’s education, I joined the Children’s Kiva Board of Directors (currently known as Children’s House) in December of 2011. In 2013 I became a Founding Member of the Children’s Kiva Montessori School and currently serve on both the Children’s House and the Elementary/Middle School Boards of Directors.
Chad Fish – Treasurer
I'm the Father of 6 wonderful children, 4 Kiva students and 2 High School Students. I have been married to my wife Tara for almost 20 years and love to spend time with my family hiking , mountain biking, camping or any other outdoor adventure. I have a background in Commercial Construction and currently work in the oil field.
