The Beta Delta Chapter of Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha, Inc. stands in solidarity now and always with the Black community, but especially during these times. In order for us to seek justice for our Latinx communities, we must do so while standing beside the Black community. The murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery are only three of the countless murders that are the result of institutionalized racism and violence towards the Black community. Non-Black Latinx individuals must discuss the anti-Blackness that is alive in our communities and educate ourselves in order to become better allies. Only then will we be able to move forward. These are difficult times and the Hermanas send you all our best.
