A group of partners from Guilford County Schools, the Greater High Point Food Alliance, the Weaver Foundation, UNCG’s Communication Studies Department and LEAP Program, Guilford Education Alliance, Greensboro Parks & Recreation, Greensboro’s Community Food Task Force, Growing High Point, and the United Ways of Greater Greensboro & High Point worked together to assemble this list.

  • WIC Eligibility - can provide food benefits for pregnant and postpartum women, infants, and children until the age of 5. For High Point residents, call 336-641-7571

  • Senior Resources of Guilford: information about meals on wheels and other services for seniors in Greensboro, High Point, and Guilford County.

For Everyone

  • High Point Food Finder App: locations for free meals and food pantries through the Greater High Point Food Alliance. Includes information for all of the Guilford County School System’s Grab N Go sites and community meals.

  • Follow CDC guidelines for social distancing practices
  • Do not show up at a volunteer site without prior permission

  • The Volunteer Center: start here if you are looking for a way to volunteer, or if you have an organization that needs volunteers
  • www.ghpfa.org (Get involved page) : The GHPFA will connect volunteers to local agencies that are seeking volunteers to help meet the nutritional needs of the greater High Point community
