Select this option for the most traditional school experience. Students will be enrolled as normal and will begin school on August 26, 2020, with orientation days on August 24 and 25.  More information will follow soon.

Select this option if a transition to traditional/blending learning is preferred later but prefer off site for now. Instruction will begin August 26, 2020.

Curriculum

  • Teachers will provide daily in person instruction
  •  Teachers follow the district curriculum
  • Students enhance learning through digital content
  • Students utilize Google Classroom
  • Teachers check grades regularly and communicate with students and parents
  • Students transition to virtual learning as required by the district, DESE, ADH and CDC

  • Teachers provide live classroom teaching via ZOOM, Google Hangout
  • Teachers check grades regularly and communicate with students and parents
  • Teachers provide digital content to support students and assign digital projects
  • Small group sessions led by the teacher
  • Virtual instruction may take place in a live format (ZOOM, Google Hangout) and/or a recorded format
  • Students may be grouped as multiple grade levels in a virtual classroom
  • Students will be assigned a homeroom teacher

Health and Safety

  • Efforts will be made to limit social interaction including: classroom arrangement
  • Minimized transitions
  • Social distancing will be practiced, where feasible

● Frequent sanitization of surfaces and buildings

● Students and staff stay home when not feeling well and/or have been exposed to COVID-19

● ADH guidelines will be followed for students or staff who test positive for COVID-19

● Contact tracing will be conducted by the

ADH

Health and Safety

  • Wear a face-covering or mask covering nose and mouth as required when on campus
  • Students and staff stay home from invited school events when not feeling well and/or have been exposed to COVID-19

● School Based Mental Health (SBMH) providers  will help teachers address specific student social/emotional learning (SEL) needs. SEL tools and sites are available to parents. Counselors

will be available to support students, families, and teachers.

scheduled ZOOM, Google Hangout video conferencing sessions.
