Gates and Locks: If you have a locked gate or a gate that may be locked in the future, you must provide a key to Absolute before you accept your contract. It’s the client’s responsibility to drop off a copy of the key to our office before accepting your contract (remember to keep an extra for yourself). We have dedicated key boxes for our clients.  At no time will any client know the code to our boxes. Key boxes are free to our clients but it is the responsibility of the client to make sure our box is kept safe on their property and not tampered with. If a key box is damaged while on the property of the client, $39.00 will be charged to their account.  If service ends, the client agrees to let Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC retrieve the key box from the property. We will then return the key to the client. If we are not provided with a key and we arrive to cut your lawn and are unable to access your property, we will cut what we have access to and you will be charged for a full cut. We strive to be efficient in order to keep our prices low, and a locked gate prevents this. If your gate is locked and we don’t have a key on hand, there will be a $90 surcharge added to your monthly invoice. In the event that a solution regarding a locked gate can’t be reached in a reasonable amount of time, Absolute reserves the right to terminate service due to the breach of terms of the contract. This will be at the discretion of Absolute Lawn Care, and the contract cancellation fee will be charged. If you are not comfortable with these terms, please seek a different service provider.  If you have a gate that locks on the inside, it must remain unlocked or have a lock installed on the exterior so that we can access your yard. Absolute Lawn Care crews will not walk through a client’s house to access back or side yards. The client is to ensure that we have safe and adequate access to their property without having to enter another person’s property.

 

Animal Waste: It is the responsibility of the homeowner to clean up their pet's waste. Unless you have contracted Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC to clean up the waste (at an additional cost to your lawn service) we will pick it up and properly dispose of it and charge an additional minimum of $10.00 for each visit. If you have animal waste in your beds, any guarantee is voided. Please be aware that animal urine and waste is very toxic to plants and grasses and can kill or damage plants and grasses.

 

Scheduling: In the Greater New Orleans area we service properties on a weekly basis from April 1 to October 31. During the rest of the year we cut grass on a biweekly schedule and possibly once every 4 weeks in January and February. We sometimes come across unforeseen circumstances when scheduling our crew (i.e. weather, scheduling) that may cause our schedule to vary. On average clients receive 39 services per year plus or minus one service depending on adjustments made to the schedule due to weather, holidays, conflicts, etc.

If you would like more visits in the winter months, please notify us at least 3 days in advance. Your cost per service will apply to any additional visits. We quote in accordance to this schedule--weekly from April 1 to October 31; once every two weeks in March, November and December; once every 4 weeks in January and February.  This is the only schedule we will service any client by. If the client does not want their property serviced on this schedule, the client may want to consider another service provider.

 

We have divided the Greater New Orleans area into distinct sections that we service on different target days of the week. Once we have received your deposit (if necessary) and the client has accepted the quoted contract, we will schedule your lawn care and/or garden bed maintenance at our next available target date for the client’s area. We cannot accommodate requests for specific dates, times, or days of the week.

 

If we foresee any issues, we will either service the property up to 3 days early or up to 3 days later than your targeted date. If your lawn does not need to be serviced, you must contact us at least 3 days prior to your scheduled visit. The regular price for your lawn is an estimate for a maintained yard. If you reschedule service and the next visit takes longer than the allotted time to service your property, you may be charged an extra fee for the extra time.

 

Cancellation Policy:

 All contracted jobs have a cancellation fee on them. If for any reason your property does not need to be serviced or is unable to be serviced, you must contact us three days prior to your target service day. If we are not contacted within three days of your target cut/service date, you will be charged the full price whether the work is performed or not. All clients are permitted to skip one service per 39 cuts. A surcharge may apply to your next visit if service to your property takes longer than your usual allotted time. If you cancel your contract before the agreement is complete you must pay Absolute Lawn Care LA half of the remaining balance of your contract regardless of whether the work is performed or not. If you have a card on file for automatic billing, the card on file will be charged the cancellation fee immediately upon cancellation. If your account is delinquent, you will become inactive and the cancellation policy will take effect. The client will be charged for the complete contract and will be due immediately. If applicable, the  financed portion of the contract will be due upon termination of any maintenance contracts.

 

Payment: All maintenance clients must keep a credit card on file with our office for automatic billing on the first of each month.

Returned Check Fee: A $25.00 plus applicable late fees will apply to all returned checks.

        Chargeback Case: If found in our favor may result in administrative fees and/or late fees.

 

Pets: We want to keep our clients’ pets safe. That is why it is the responsibility of the client to inform Absolute Lawn Care of any pets kept on the property. Our crew members will use caution when entering and exiting gates; however, we are not responsible for the safety or security of any pets while we perform any services. We recommend keeping your pet/pets indoors on your target day of service, investing in an auto-close gate, or using some other means to secure your pet. If you have pets in your yard that are aggressive or for any other reason shouldn’t be around our crews, we encourage you to find another service provider. We value the safety of our workers, and our workers love animals, but if the animals don’t love our workers, the relationship isn’t a good fit. At the discretion of each worker, our crews may elect to not service your property or a portion of your property because of an unrestrained or poorly restrained pet. Our crews base this decision on both their safety and the pet’s safety. Our crews will service what portions of the property they believe are safe and charge the full service fee. Since pet restraint is the responsibility of the client, our crews will not return at a later time to finish the service if a portion of the property is left unserviced.

 Guarantee on Plants: We may guarantee plants that are installed by Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC. The guarantee only applies if you have an irrigation system that is installed by Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC and is also maintenanced by Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC in beds and lawns with proper drainage. At the discretion of Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC, any acts of God or acts that are out of the control of Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC voids the guarantee. Any spiders, insects or micro bugs, (Scale, aphids, mites, etc.) that are or have damaged the plants void ay guarantee.  Neglect of the plants or neglect to notify Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC that the plants are not healthy also voids the guarantee. It is the responsibility of the client to notify us if any plants are in decline. Guarantees do not start and are void until final payments are collected. Any returned checks or payments will void all guarantees.

 

Debris and Leaves and Lawn Clippings: Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC will pick up light debris during a service visit within reason. If at any time your service takes longer than the allotted time due to debris and leaf clean up, you may be charged for the extra time. If the client would like their leaves bagged, they must notify us and they will be charged for this extra service. Any lawn clippings the client would like to have bagged during a service visit will incur a $5 minimum charge.

 

Unsecured cables: Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC is not responsible for damage to unsecured cables, wires, or lines on your property. Unsecured cables, wires, or lines may be, but are not limited to cable television, phone, or internet lines. The client is required to notify Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC of any loose cables on the property prior to any work performed. The homeowner and/or company that installed the line shall be held liable for improperly securing the line. Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC will be held liable for damage to cables, wires, or lines that are properly secured. This also applies to any lighting wire or micro/tube irrigation and holiday lighting or decorations.  If you believe Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC has damaged a cable, wire, or line on your property and should be held liable, please contact us prior to having the damage repaired and within 24 hours of the service visit.

 

Satisfaction: We encourage you to contact us via phone or email in the event that you require additional service or our crews have overlooked any details pertaining to your service. This could include the addition of seasonal color, additional mulching, or replacing plants. While we aim to anticipate these needs and bring them to your attention whenever possible, our crews may miss these details on occasion. Our office staff is available Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm to assist you with scheduling additional work and/or to resolve any needs or issues that arise. Please inform the office of any special needs your property may require so that we can put the proper communication in place for our crews when they service your property. By accepting our contract, you are agreeing that if for any reason you are not satisfied with any of your services, you will contact us within 24 hours to resolve the issue. We pride ourselves on exceeding our clients’ expectations and we want to keep communication open. Issues that are not brought up within 24 hours become more difficult to resolve. To keep these issues under control, we must have the issues brought to the attention of the company. Please call the office at 504-315-5296 ext 1 within 24 hours of your service to notify us.  Depending on the circumstance, we may send a crew back as soon as possible to address the situation.  Alternately, we may make note of the issue, and make sure that it is resolved on the next scheduled service.  It is up to the discretion of Absolute Lawn Care whether or not to send a crew back before the next scheduled service in order to resolve a client’s issue with a service.

Vehicles:

Please do not park any vehicles on or near serviceable areas. We may not service these areas and will not return to. If extra time is needed on the next visit, a surcharge may be applied.

When servicing the portions of the property near streets, driveways or other vehicular areas, our crews will take the utmost care to prevent damage that may occur to vehicles from falling limbs, equipment, plant sap, etc. In order to help us prevent any damage from occurring to your vehicles and to service your property as completely as possible, please move vehicles prior to the beginning of work.  We do not knock or doors or notify clients that their service has started.

 

Weed Whacking/Eating: Any areas that can not be mowed (e.g. around trees, edges of plants, bottoms of fences, close to houses or mailboxes, near lattice and many other areas) will need to be weed whacked.  Any material/plant that can not take the power of a commercial weed eater with .95 wire needs to be protected by the client.  Small trees should have a mulch bed around the base of them or plastic protection around the base to avoid any damage to the bark. Plants should never be planted in the lawn without a border or protection.  If a material is weak and can not hold up to the regular lawn service requirements, it should be replaced or it is the responsibility of the client to repair any normal wear and tear due to regular use of edgers or weed eaters including damage to any exposed water lines, pvc piping, wires, etc.  If you have any questions regarding items that may not hold up to weed eating, please call the office to talk to the manager of the Lawn Care department to advise you accordingly. Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC is not responsible for any damage to any part of a client’s property that may be the result of weed whacking/eating.

Edging: In order to maintain a straight line at the edge of a turf area, a crew member may need to cut slightly farther into the grass. This is in an effort to maintain the straightest edge possible, but it can occasionally mean that trenches develop at the edges of turf areas. This is a common issue for maintenance companies and homeowners. If you see this start to happen, please alert the office staff as soon as possible. Edging can be temporarily discontinued to allow grass to fill back in at your request. Sod pieces can be laid at an additional cost to speed the process, but this service is not included in regular maintenance.

 

Wild Flowers: Due to the difficulty our crews may have distinguishing between wildflowers and weeds, we are unable to service areas that include wild flowers. Please contact our office if you have any garden beds or sections of your property with wild flowers.

Hours of Operation and Service Days: Business hours and hours of operation are different. Due to the demand of our clients, Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC operates in the field 7 days a week from dawn to dusk.  During certain months, we may arrive at your property very early but will try to keep quiet until 7 am.  Due to certain routes, we are not able to service people on a different schedule other than what we have set for our field workers. Please do not sign up for service if our hours of operation will be an issue for you or your tenants.

 

Initial Clean Out: All clients will have initial cleanouts on their first visit. These cleanouts will be charged at our hourly rate of $90.00 for a crew of 2 workers. This is to get the property to a maintainable state. The garden maintenance and/or lawn care maintenance quote that we give is for a property that has received an initial clean out. The regular visit quote is to keep the property maintained to the level of the initial cleanout.  If you have any questions regarding this initial clean out you can get an estimate on how long it will approximately take to get the property to a maintainable state.  It will clearly say in the quote how long it is estimated to take upon request. If the cleanout is completed within the time frame of a regular service visit, the client will be charged the price of a regular service visit.

 

Contracted work:

All jobs should have a contract.  Any additional work to be performed must be requested with our office.  If any any time, a client tries to solicit any work (side work) outside of the contract to a crew leader or crew member on site, the client and contract will be terminated and any cancellation fees will be applied.  Simply said, our workers can not be tipped or paid for any work outside of the agreed contract. This is at the sole discretion of Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC.

Miscellaneous: Due to the nature of our business and in order to keep our prices low for you, we will not be able to notify you prior to servicing your lawn or garden bed.

 

The signer of the contract must have written permission on-site for work being performed on any property other than their own. This includes work being done on rental properties or on neighboring properties. Do not accept an estimate without said written consent. This written consent must be available at the request of Absolute Lawn Care & Landscaping LA, LLC.

If a third party is performing work on the property that must be completed before Absolute Lawn Care & Landscaping LA, LLC may begin work, for scheduling reasons, do not accept an estimate before the third party’s work has been completed.

Absolute Lawn Care is committed to providing the best service to all of our clients. We take client satisfaction seriously, and always aim to resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner. In the event that a client is dissatisfied, Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC will work diligently to correct any issues in order to achieve 100% satisfaction. If a dissatisfied client does not give our crew members the opportunity to correct mistakes, issues, unfinished work, etc., the client will be held responsible for full payment of the contract. If we are not allowed back on the property, contract is complete and payment is due in full.

In the event that your house is sold before you have completed your agreement per the terms of your contract, you must inform Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC that your home has sold on the MLS website. Once your house has sold, your contract will be terminated at your request. All unpaid invoices are due upon termination of the contract. If the ownership of the property changes, you must notify the new owners and Absolute Lawn Care immediately.

All work that is contingent on the completion of services, construction, or other outside factors not included in the services provided in the contract by Absolute Lawn Care LA, LLC should be complete prior to accepting a contract with Absolute Lawn Care LA, LLC. Before accepting an estimate, the site must be ready for the contracted work and any materials provided by the client must be on site. If an estimate is accepted prior to the work site being ready for the contracted work to begin and/or client provided materials are available, the contract may be cancelled and cancellation fees and/or additional fees may apply.

Absolute Lawn Care LA, LLC is not responsible for  any incidental damage that occurs during installations, repairs, or regular service visits.  Incidental damage may include, but is not limited to water damage, excess use of water, damage to structures due to broken or leaking pipes, damage to pool piping or pool equipment, damage to underground pipes, wires, etc. We are not responsible for any damage to lawn furniture, grills, or other items that may need to be moved in order for work to be completed, including regular maintenance.

Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC reserves the right to terminate any contract at our discretion.

Any abusive behavior and/or language directed at our employees may result in immediate termination of a client’s contract.

Garden bed maintenance may include:

Mulch: If you have garden bed maintenance it is expected that the beds be properly mulched.  If a bed is not mulched on a regular basis, it creates more work for the field workers and may increase the cost of your visits/contract.  Mulch does a multitude of positive things for your beds including retarding weed growth.  We initially quote your property with the understanding that the beds will stay mulched (either by client or Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC) during the complete year.  If the client wants to take on the responsibility of mulching the beds, please contact the office of Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC before you accept your contract so we can set up a plan.  Any time the beds are not mulched, Absolute Lawn Care will make the decision to mulch regardless if the client is notified.  All mulch labor and materials will be additional to the contracted price and charged out to the credit card you have on file with Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC.  If you want a price list of the mulch we commonly use (prices are subject to change), please contact Absolute Lawn Care before you accept the contract.   Mulch type is subject to change due to the nature of the mulch and availability.

It’s the client’s responsibility to drop off a copy of the key to our office before accepting your contract (remember to keep an extra for yourself, keys will break and get lost (we may need additional keys through the life of the contract). Please call the office at 504-315-5296 ext 1 within 24 hours of your service to notify us.  Depending on the circumstance, we may send a crew back as soon as possible to address the situation.  Alternately, we may make note of the issue, and make sure that it is resolved on the next scheduled service.  It is up to the discretion of Absolute Lawn Care whether or not to send a crew back before the next scheduled service in order to resolve a client’s issue with a service.

Weed Whacking/Eating: Any areas that can not be mowed (e.g. around trees, edges of plants, bottoms of fences, close to houses or mailboxes, near lattice and many other areas) will need to be weed whacked.  Any material/plant that can not take the power of a commercial weed eater with .95 wire needs to be protected by the client.  Small trees should have a mulch bed around the base of them or plastic protection around the base to avoid any damage to the bark. Plants should never be planted in the lawn without a border or protection.  If a material is weak and can not hold up to the regular lawn service requirements, it should be replaced or it is the responsibility of the client to repair any normal wear and tear due to regular use of edgers or weed eaters. If you have any questions regarding items that may not hold up to weed eating, please call the office to talk to the manager of the Lawn Care department to advise you accordingly. Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC is not responsible for any damage to any part of a client’s property that may be the result of weed whacking/eating.

Vehicles:  Please do not park any vehicles on or near serviceable areas. We may not service these areas and will not return to. If extra time is needed on the next visit, a surcharge may be applied.

When servicing the portions of the property near streets, driveways or other vehicular areas, our crews will take the utmost care to prevent damage that may occur to vehicles from falling limbs, equipment, plant sap, etc. In order to help us prevent any damage from occurring to your vehicles and to service your property as completely as possible, please move vehicles prior to the beginning of work.

 

Wild Flowers: Due to the difficulty our crews may have distinguishing between wild flowers and weeds, we are unable to service areas that include wild flowers. Please contact our office if you have any garden beds or sections of your property with wild flowers.

Hours of Operation and Service Days: Business hours and hours of operation are different. Due to the demand of our clients, Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC operates in the field 7 days a week from dawn to dusk.  During certain months, we may arrive at your property very early but will try to keep quiet until 7 am.  Due to certain routes, we are not able to service people on a different schedule other than what we have set for our field workers. If you have a special request, please notify us before starting service to see if we can accommodate. We may not be able to accommodate every request from a client (i.e. if a client requests no Sunday visits but rain is expected on Monday and Tuesday, the client may be serviced on Sunday in accordance with our policy).  

 

Initial Clean Out: All clients will have initial cleanouts on their first visit. These cleanouts will be charged at our hourly rate of $90.00 for a crew of 2 workers. This is to get the property to a maintainable state. The garden maintenance and/or lawn care maintenance quote that we give is for a property that has received an initial clean out. The regular visit quote is to keep the property maintained to the level of the initial cleanout.  If you have any questions regarding this initial clean out you can get an estimate on how long it will approximately take to get the property to a maintainable state.  It will clearly say in the quote how long it is estimated to take upon request. If the cleanout is completed within the time frame of a regular service visit, the client will be charged the price of a regular service visit.

Contracted work:

All jobs should have a contract.  Any additional work to be performed must be requested with our office.  If any any time, a client tries to solicit any work (side work) outside of the contract to a crew leader or crew member on site, the client and contract will be terminated and any cancellation fees will be applied.  Simply said, our workers can not be tipped or paid for any work outside of the agreed contract. This is at the sole discretion of Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC.

Miscellaneous : Due to the nature of our business and in order to keep our prices low for you we won't be able to notify you prior to servicing your lawn or garden bed.

The signer of the contract must have written permission on-site for work being performed on any property other than their own. This includes work being done on rental properties or on neighboring properties. Do not accept an estimate without said written consent. This written consent must be available at the request of Absolute Lawn Care & Landscaping LA, LLC.

If a third party is performing work on the property that must be completed before Absolute Lawn Care & Landscaping LA, LLC may begin work, for scheduling reasons, do not accept an estimate before the third party’s work has been completed.

Absolute Lawn Care is committed to providing the best service to all of our clients. We take client satisfaction seriously, and always aim to resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner. In the event that a client is dissatisfied, Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC will work diligently to correct any issues in order to achieve 100% satisfaction. If a dissatisfied client does not give our crew members the opportunity to correct mistakes, issues, unfinished work, etc., the client will be held responsible for full payment of the contract. If we are not allowed back on the property, contract is complete and payment is due in full.

In the event that your house is sold before you have received completed your agreement per the terms of your contract, you must inform Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC that your home is listed on the MLS website. Once your house has sold, your contract will be terminated at your request. All unpaid invoices are due upon termination of the contract.

If a client chooses to supply their own materials and/or measurements for a project, the client is responsible for ensuring accurate measurements and supplies. When the terms of the contract have been satisfied the final payment is due. If additional materials are needed or adjustments made due to the client’s miscalculation, a separate contract will be required. This includes all pavers, plants, mulch, and any other materials not supplied by Absolute Lawn Care LA, LLC

All work that is contingent on the completion of services, construction, or other outside factors not included in the services provided in the contract by Absolute Lawn Care LA, LLC should be complete prior to accepting a contract with Absolute Lawn Care LA, LLC. Before accepting an estimate, the site must be ready for the contracted work and any materials provided by the client must be on site. If an estimate is accepted prior to the work site being ready for the contracted work to begin and/or client provided materials are available, the contract may be cancelled and cancellation fees and/or additional fees may apply.

Garden bed maintenance includes the removal of leaves within reason. Our crews will do their best to remove the majority of the leaves; however, we cannot guarantee that all leaves will be removed on each visit. If a client requests all leaves be removed from their property, a landscape crew will be sent to complete the work and the client will be charged at our hourly rate of $90/hour.

Absolute Lawn Care LA, LLC is not responsible for  any incidental damage that occurs during installations, repairs, or regular service visits.  Incidental damage may include, but is not limited to water damage, excess use of water, damage to structures due to broken or leaking pipes, damage to pool piping or pool equipment, damage to underground pipes, wires, etc. We are not responsible for any damage to lawn furniture, grills, or other items that may need to be moved in order for work to be completed, including regular maintenance.

Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC reserves the right to terminate any contract at our discretion.

Any abusive behavior and/or language directed at our employees may result in immediate termination of a client’s contract.

Gates and Locks: If your property has a gate that is locked, it is the responsibility of the homeowner to provide a key for Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC. We have dedicated keys for our clients that we lock up during non business hours. You may be charged a surcharge if we arrive at your property but are not able to access the work area.

Animal Waste: It is the responsibility of the homeowner to clean up their pet's waste. Unless you have contracted Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC to clean up the waste (at an additional cost to your lawn service) we will pick it up and properly dispose of it and charge an additional minimum of $10.00 each visit. If you have animal waste on your beds, any guarantee is voided.

Scheduling: Upon acceptance of your estimate, your job will be put in a queue according to the date the contract was accepted. During our peak season (i.e. spring and summer) we may be booked 5-6 weeks out. At the time you accept your estimate and pay your deposit, we will give you an estimated start time, which may be moved up or back due to weather, jobs taking more or less time than expected, and other factors.

We cannot accommodate requests for specific dates or days of the week. Our goal is to complete your project in a timely manner. If you have questions regarding scheduling, please call the office (504) 315-5296.

All contracted jobs have a cancellation fee on them. The fee is either 50% of the contracted amount or the cost of the materials, whichever is greater. All deposits nonrefundable.

We recommend keeping your pet/pets indoors on your target day of service, investing in an auto-close gate, or using some other means to secure your pet. At the discretion of each worker, our crews can elect to not service your property or a portion of your property because of an unrestrained or poorly restrained pet. Our crews base this decision on both their safety and the pet’s safety. Our crews will service what portions of the property they believe are safe and charge the full service fee. Since pet restraint is the responsibility of the client, our crews will not return at a later time to finish the service if a portion of the property is left unserviced.

Guarantee on Plants: We may guarantee plants that are installed by Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC. The guarantee only applies if you have an irrigation system that is installed by Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC and is also maintenanced by Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC in beds and lawns with proper drainage. At the discretion of Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC, any acts of God or acts that are out of the control of Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC voids the guarantee. Any spiders, insects or micro bugs, (Scale, aphids, mites, etc.) that are or have damaged the plants void ay guarantee.  Neglect of the plants or neglect to notify Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC that the plants are not healthy also voids the guarantee. It is the responsibility of the client to notify us if any plants are in decline. Guarantees do not start and are void until final payments are collected. Any returned checks or payments will void all guarantees.

Debris and Leaves: Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC will pick up light debris and minor leaves during their lawn service. If at any time, your service takes longer than the allotted time due to debris and leave clean up, you make be charged for the extra time.

Unsecured cables: Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC is not responsible for damage to unsecured cables, wires, or lines on your property. Unsecured cables, wires, or lines may be but are not limited to cable television, phone, or internet lines. You are required to notify Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC of any loose cables on your property prior to work performed. The homeowner and/or company that installed the line shall be held liable for not properly securing the line. Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC will be held liable for damage to cables, wires, or lines that are properly secured. If you believe Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC has damaged a cable, wire, or line on your property and should be held liable please contact us prior to having the damage repaired.

Miscellaneous

Although Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC takes care not to damage property, we sometimes have to weed whack and edge around items (i.e. fence, house, garage, mailbox, lattice and much more). Crew Breaks - For safety reasons our crews are required to take periodic breaks throughout the day. During the summer months these breaks may be more frequent.  If you are being charged at our hourly rate, these breaks will be included in the hours spent at the property.

Ponds and Fountains: We take the utmost care when cleaning your ponds and fountains; however, due to the fragile nature of aquatic life, Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC is not responsible for any loss of aquatic life (plants, fish, turtles, etc.). Chemical treatments may be used when cleaning water features. Cost for chemical treatments will be billed separately, if not included in the original contract.

At the discretion of each worker, our crews can elect to not service your property or a portion of your property because of an unrestrained or poorly restrained pet. Our crews base this decision on both their safety and the pet’s safety. Our crews will service what portions of the property they believe are safe and charge the full service fee. Since pet restraint is the responsibility of the client, our crews will not return at a later time to finish the service if a portion of the property is left unserviced.

Debris and Leaves: Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC will pick up light debris and minor leaves during their lawn service. If at any time, your service takes longer than the allotted time due to debris and leave clean up, you make be charged for the extra time.

Unsecured cables: Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC is not responsible for damage to unsecured cables, wires, or lines on your property. Unsecured cables, wires, or lines may be but are not limited to cable television, phone, or internet lines. You are required to notify Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC of any loose cables on your property prior to work performed. The homeowner and/or company that installed the line shall be held liable for not properly securing the line. Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC will be held liable for damage to cables, wires, or lines that are properly secured. If you believe Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC has damaged a cable, wire, or line on your property and should be held liable please contact us prior to having the damage repaired.

Satisfaction: If for any reason, you are not satisfied with any of your services, please contact us within 24 hours to resolve the issue. We pride ourselves on exceeding our clients’ expectations and we want to keep communication open.

Contracted work:

All jobs should have a contract.  Any additional work to be performed must be requested with our office.  If any any time, a client tries to solicit any work (side work) outside of the contract to a crew leader or crew member on site, the client and contract will be terminated and any cancellation fees will be applied.  Simply said, our workers can not be tipped or paid for any work outside of the agreed contract. This is at the sole discretion of Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC.

Additions to contract: Additions to contracts will be considered separate from original contracts and will not hinder payment of original contract.

Miscellaneous : The signer of the contract must have written permission on-site for work being performed on any property other than their own. This includes work being done on rental properties or on neighboring properties. Do not accept an estimate without said written consent. This written consent must be available at the request of Absolute Lawn Care & Landscaping LA, LLC.

If a third party is performing work on the property that must be completed before Absolute Lawn Care & Landscaping LA, LLC may begin work, for scheduling reasons, do not accept an estimate before the third party’s work has been completed.

All work that is contingent on the completion of services, construction, or other outside factors not included in the services provided in the contract by Absolute Lawn Care LA, LLC should be complete prior to accepting a contract with Absolute Lawn Care LA, LLC. Before accepting an estimate, the site must be ready for the contracted work and any materials provided by the client must be on site. If an estimate is accepted prior to the work site being ready for the contracted work to begin and/or client provided materials are available, the contract may be cancelled and cancellation fees and/or additional fees may apply.

Absolute Lawn Care is committed to providing the best service to all of our clients. We take client satisfaction seriously, and always aim to resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner. In the event that a client is dissatisfied, Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC will work diligently to correct any issues in order to achieve 100% satisfaction. If a dissatisfied client does not give our crew members the opportunity to correct mistakes, issues, unfinished work, etc., the client will be held responsible for full payment of the contract. If we are not allowed back on the property, contract is complete and payment is due in full.

If during the installation or repair of drainage, irrigation, or landscaping we encounter a root system, buried sidewalk, driveway, concrete, or other unknown variable that we need to cut through, trench around, or otherwise avoid, a surcharge will be added to the final cost of the work. This surcharge will equate to the amount of time spent doing the work which was out of the scope of the original project.

Absolute Lawn Care LA, LLC is not responsible for  any incidental damage that occurs during installations, repairs, or regular service visits.  Incidental damage may include, but is not limited to water damage, excess use of water, damage to structures due to broken or leaking pipes, damage to pool piping or pool equipment, damage to underground pipes, wires, etc.

If a client chooses to supply their own materials and/or measurements for a project, the client is responsible for ensuring accurate measurements and supplies. When the terms of the contract have been satisfied the final payment is due. If additional materials are needed or adjustments made due to the client’s miscalculation, a separate contract will be required. This includes all pavers, plants, mulch, and any other materials not supplied by Absolute Lawn Care LA, LLC

Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC reserves the right to terminate any contract at our discretion.

Unless you have contracted Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC to clean up the waste (additional cost to your lawn service) we will pick it up and properly dispose of it and charge an additional minimum of $10.00 each visit. If you have animal waste on your beds, any guarantee is voided.

Scheduling: Upon acceptance of your estimate, your job will be put in a queue according to the date the contract was accepted. During our peak season (i.e. spring and summer) we may be booked 5-6 weeks out. At the time you accept your estimate and pay your deposit, we will give you an estimated start time, which may be moved up or back due to weather, jobs taking more or less time than expected, and other factors. We cannot accommodate requests for specific dates or days of the week.

It is the responsibility of the client to notify us if any plants are in decline. Guarantees do not start and are void until final payments are collected. Existing Irrigation: If Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC works on your existing irrigation, warranties implied are from the manufacturer only. The only time that we guarantee any irrigation system or plants with an irrigation system is if Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC installs a professional irrigation system from start to finish. This means that Absolute Lawn Care installs everything from the backflow preventer to the finished heads.

New Irrigation: Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC guarantees irrigation that is installed starting at the backflow preventer and ending with the nozzles. This guarantee lasts for the period of one year from the initial installation of the product. If at any time another company or person works on your irrigation, all guarantees and warranties are void. Misuse and damage to the irrigation system is not covered by Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC’s warranty ( ie. someone digging in yard, tiller, etc. ). Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC will only guarantee materials that are purchased from Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC.

Micro/Drip Irrigation: At no time does Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC guarantee any Micro or Drip irrigation. Due to the high maintenance requirements of this type of irrigation, we may install it but will not guarantee it.

Service Calls: In the event that Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC is requested to service an irrigation system that was installed by Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC, we will diagnose what is wrong. If it is a warranty issue, we will pay for the diagnostic, if it is not, the client will be billed at our hourly rate. At any time there is excessive water that is thought to be from a break in the line, you must notify Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC immediately. All water bills are the responsibility of the client, regardless of the a warranty and or guarantee.

If an irrigation diagnostic is needed for your system there is a minimum charge of one hour at our hourly rate. If any repairs are made on the spot, we will automatically charge for materials and any labor that exceeds one hour. If additional parts are needed, we will place an order for the parts and charge for another service call on our next visit.

We will not provide an extension cord so the system may be run off another outlet. If we have to return to setup the control box, the time used will be charged for. If we install plants under one of our irrigation systems, and that system is left off for any reason beyond our control, any warranty on the plants we have installed will be void.

Disturbance to lawn and surfaces: Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC takes the utmost care in minimizing disturbances to the client’s lawn and surfaces when performing tree services. However due to the nature of the work and necessary equipment, incidental damages may occur. Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC is not liable for any damage to landscaping, sod, plant material, or surfaces that may occur from the use of equipment, vehicles, or other causes. Examples: Tire marks in lawn, debris falling on flower beds, disruption to garden beds surrounding tree, etc. If sod or other materials are needed to repair the area near and/or around the tree, there may be an additional cost if not included in the contract.

All work that is contingent on the completion of services, construction, or other outside factors not included in the services provided in the contract by Absolute Lawn Care LA, LLC should be complete prior to accepting a contract with Absolute Lawn Care LA, LLC. Before accepting an estimate, the site must be ready for the contracted work and any materials provided by the client must be on site. If an estimate is accepted prior to the work site being ready for the contracted work to begin and/or client provided materials are available, the contract may be cancelled and cancellation fees and/or additional fees may apply.

Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC reserves the right to terminate any contract at our discretion.

Gutter cleaning Terms

Gates and Locks: If you have a locked gate or a gate that may be locked in the future, you must provide a key to Absolute before you accept your contract. It’s the client’s responsibility to drop off a copy of the key to our office before accepting your contract (remember to keep an extra for yourself). We have dedicated key boxes for our clients.  At no time will any client know the code to our boxes. Key boxes are free to our clients but it is the responsibility of the client to make sure our box is kept safe on their property and not tampered with. If a key box is damaged while on the property of the client, $39.00 will be charged to their account.  If service ends, the client agrees to let Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC retrieve the key box from the property. We will then return the key to the client. If we are not provided with a key and we arrive to clean your gutters  and are unable to access your property, we will clean what we have access to and you will not be refunded for any incomplete service. We strive to be efficient in order to keep our prices low, and a locked gate prevents this. In the event that a solution regarding a locked gate can’t be reached in a reasonable amount of time, Absolute reserves the right to terminate service due to the breach of terms of the contract. This will be at the discretion of Absolute Lawn Care. If you are not comfortable with these terms, please seek a different service provider.  If you have a gate that locks on the inside, it must remain unlocked or have a lock installed on the exterior so that we can access your yard. Absolute Lawn Care crews will not walk through a client’s house to access back or side yards. The client is to ensure that we have safe and adequate access to their property without having to enter another person’s property.

Cancellation Policy:

         If for any reason your property does not need to be serviced or is unable to be serviced, you must contact us no later than seven days prior to the scheduled billing date. There is no penalty for canceling as long as service is canceled at least seven days prior to the scheduled billing date.

If we are not contacted within seven days prior to your billing date, you will be charged the full price whether the work is performed or not. The initial/non-regular visit price will apply to the next visit if you cancel a scheduled service.

Payment: All gutter cleaning clients must keep a credit card on file with our office for automatic billing on the first of each month.

Returned Check Fee: A $25.00 plus applicable late fees will apply to all returned checks.

        Chargeback Case: If found in our favor may result in administrative fees and/or late fees.

 

Pets: We want to keep our clients’ pets safe. That is why it is the responsibility of the client to inform Absolute Lawn Care of any pets kept on the property. Our crew members will use caution when entering and exiting gates; however, we are not responsible for the safety or security of any pets while we perform any services. We recommend keeping your pet/pets indoors on your target day of service, investing in an auto-close gate, or using some other means to secure your pet. If you have pets in your yard that are aggressive or for any other reason shouldn’t be around our crews, we encourage you to find another service provider. We value the safety of our workers, and our workers love animals, but if the animals don’t love our workers, the relationship isn’t a good fit. At the discretion of each worker, our crews may elect to not service your property or a portion of your property because of an unrestrained or poorly restrained pet. Our crews base this decision on both their safety and the pet’s safety. Our crews will service what portions of the property they believe are safe and charge the full service fee. Since pet restraint is the responsibility of the client, our crews will not return at a later time to finish the service if a portion of the property is left unserviced.

Unsecured cables: Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC is not responsible for damage to unsecured cables, wires, or lines on your property. Unsecured cables, wires, or lines may be, but are not limited to cable television, phone, or internet lines. The client is required to notify Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC of any loose cables on the property prior to any work performed. The homeowner and/or company that installed the line shall be held liable for improperly securing the line. Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC will be held liable for damage to cables, wires, or lines that are properly secured. This also applies to any lighting wire or microtube irrigation and holiday lighting or decorations.  If you believe Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC has damaged a cable, wire, or line on your property and should be held liable, please contact us prior to having the damage repaired and within 24 hours of the service visit.

Satisfaction: We encourage you to contact us via phone or email in the event that you require additional service or our crews have overlooked any details pertaining to your service. This could include the cutting branches more than 4’ from roof line, cutting branches more than 2” in diameter, repairing any damages. While we aim to anticipate these needs and bring them to your attention whenever possible, our crews may miss these details on occasion. Our office staff is available Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm to assist you with scheduling additional work and/or to resolve any needs or issues that arise. Please inform the office of any special needs your property may require so that we can put the proper communication in place for our crews when they service your property at an additional cost if not included in your regular service visit. By accepting our contract, you are agreeing that if for any reason you are not satisfied with any of your services, you will contact us within 24 hours to resolve the issue. We pride ourselves on exceeding our client's expectations and we want to keep communication open. Issues that are not brought up within 24 hours become more difficult to resolve. To keep these issues under control, we must have the issues brought to the attention of the company. Please call the office at 504-315-5296 ext 1 within 24 hours of your service to notify us.  Depending on the circumstance, we may send a crew back as soon as possible to address the situation.  Alternately, we may make note of the issue, and make sure that it is resolved on the next scheduled service.  It is up to the discretion of Absolute Lawn Care whether or not to send a crew back before the next scheduled service in order to resolve a client’s issue with a service.

Vehicles:

Please do not park any vehicles on or near serviceable areas. We may not service these areas and will not return to service them. If extra time is needed on the next visit, a surcharge may be applied.

When servicing the portions of the property near streets, driveways or other vehicular areas, our crews will take the utmost care to prevent damage that may occur to vehicles from falling limbs, equipment, plant sap, etc. In order to help us prevent any damage from occurring to your vehicles and to service your property as completely as possible, please move vehicles prior to the beginning of work.  We do not knock on doors and may not notify clients that their service has started.

Hours of Operation and Service Days: Business hours and hours of operation are different. Due to the demand of our clients, Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC operates in the field 7 days a week from dawn to dusk.  During certain months, we may arrive at your property very early but will try to keep quiet until 7 am.  Due to certain routes, we are not able to service people on a different schedule other than what we have set for our field workers. Please do not sign up for service if our hours of operation will be an issue for you or your tenants.

Contracted work:

All jobs should have a contract.  Any additional work to be performed must be requested with our office.  If any any time, a client tries to solicit any work (side work) outside of the contract to a crew leader or crew member on site, the client and contract will be terminated and any cancellation fees will be applied.  Simply said, our workers can not be tipped or paid for any work outside of the agreed contract. This is at the sole discretion of Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC.

Additions to contract: Additions to contracts will be considered separate from original contracts and will not hinder payment of original contract.

Miscellaneous: Due to the nature of our business and in order to keep our prices low for you, we will not be able to notify you prior to servicing your gutters.

 

The signer of the contract must have written permission on-site for work being performed on any property other than their own. This includes work being done on rental properties or on neighboring properties. Do not accept an estimate without said written consent. This written consent must be available at the request of Absolute Lawn Care LA, LLC. There may be times that our crews need to access the neighbor's property to complete service. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure this will not be an issue before all services.

If a third party is performing work on the property that must be completed before Absolute Lawn Care LA, LLC may begin work, for scheduling reasons, do not accept an estimate before the third party’s work has been completed.

Absolute Lawn Care is committed to providing the best service to all of our clients. We take client satisfaction seriously, and always aim to resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner. In the event that a client is dissatisfied, Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC will work diligently to correct any issues in order to achieve 100% satisfaction. If a dissatisfied client does not give our crew members the opportunity to correct mistakes, issues, unfinished work, etc., the client will be held responsible for full payment of the contract. If we are not allowed back on the property, contract is complete and payment is due in full.

In the event that your house is sold before you have completed your agreement per the terms of your contract, you must inform Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC that your home has sold on the MLS website or equivalent. Once your house has sold, your contract will be terminated at your request. All unpaid invoices are due upon termination of the contract. If the ownership of the property changes, you must notify the new owners and Absolute Lawn Care immediately.

Absolute Lawn Care LA, LLC is not responsible for  any incidental damage that occurs during installations, repairs, or regular service visits.  Incidental damage may include, but is not limited to water damage, damage to roof or gutters, damage to structures due to broken or leaking gutters, damage to pool piping or pool equipment, damage to underground pipes, damage to wires, or damage to plants caused by ladders or crews working close to the home, etc. We are not responsible for any damage to lawn furniture, grills, or other items that may need to be moved in order for work to be completed, including regular maintenance

Damaged gutters:

We are not responsible for any damages that may occur to the gutters while providing gutter cleaning services. We will document all serviceable areas before we begin cleaning. We will do our best to visually inspect and notify the client of any damaged gutters or downspouts that we find while on the property.  In certain cases, we may miss some damage or fail to bring certain damage to the client's attention.  This is a courtesy and will not prohibit us from collecting any part of payment.

Gutter cleaning surcharges:

We will stop work and receive permission from the client before applying surcharges to a gutter cleaning service.  This may affect future gutter cleaning visits. If we do not finish work within the 2 hours and the client does not allow extra time, the job will be considered complete and no part of the invoice will be refunded. Outside water spigot must be available for Absolute Lawn Care use.

Absolute Lawn Care LA LLC reserves the right to terminate any contract at our discretion.

Any abusive behavior and/or language directed at our employees may result in immediate termination of a client’s contract.
