World War I: Choose Your Own Adventure
Working in groups of 3, you are to choose several of the assignments below to complete that total 400 points. Your group must have a minimum of (2) 100 point assignments. There are four types of skills that we will be trying to develop: chronological reasoning, comparison and contextualization, crafting historical arguments from historical evidence, and historical interpretation and synthesis. All of the activities must pertain to the World War I Era (1914 - 1919) of US History and be specific to American topics. To get full credit, your finished products must include all requirements (read them carefully) that are listed on the Assignments descriptions pages found at www.mrroughton.com . You will have only 2 class periods to work on these; any other work must be done outside of class. Your grade will be determined by this rubric.
