Bluffs Literary Magazine Submission Guidelines

Standards and General Information

Submissions for the Spring/Summer Issue of Bluffs Literary Magazine Volume IV are currently being accepted. Submissions will be accepted until the deadline of May 1st, 2018.

We do not have a theme or specific subject matter; accepted submissions will evoke strong emotion.

We are interested in featuring written works including, but not limited to: Fiction, creative Non-fiction, Poetry, and art of most varieties.

Written submissions must be emailed (up to three submissions will be accepted, 500 words maximum) in .doc or .docx format, and art submissions (up to three) must be emailed in .pdf or high resolution .png format.

Submissions by Email

Emails must include submissions as properly formatted documents in email attachments.

• Name
• Shipping Address and Contact Information: Phone Number and Email Address
• Title of each submission included
• A brief personal bio, which may or may not be included in print

By submitting one’s work to Bluffs, one agrees to grant Bluffs Literary Magazine first publication rights, please refrain from submitting works that have previously been published. If one’s work is selected to be featured, they will receive a complimentary copy of the magazine they are featured in, as well as free admission to all events associated with said issue.
