GENERAL LEAGUE INFORMATION

League Advance

  • We run on a 48 hour advance schedule, or if 90% of the games are played and the final game(s) have yet to be heard from, we will advance then. At advance, a commissioner will start a game chat between you and your opponent. Force Wins and Force Losses will be set and discussed by commissioners one by one.
  • Weeks with no user games will advance on a 24 hour basis. This is meant to give time for user games

Account Requirements

  • The following things are required on your 4 Verts Twitter account:
  • @ need to be 4 Verts related

Activity Rule

  • We expect everyone to be active on the Twitter timeline. Post about your games, player interviews, trades, releases / signings, etc.

PLAYER MANAGEMENT - COLLEGE FOOTBALL

College football encourages players to play multiple positions (Travis Hunter playing WR/CB). The following position changes are the only player changes acceptable. This does not include ATH positions, that can play any position.

Players must satisfy the conditions needed to make a position switch, if applicable

  • QB >> WR
  • RB >> WR
  • Catching > 90
  • WR >> RB
  • Break Tackle > 75
  • Speed < 95
  • WR >> TE
  • Weight > 215 lbs
  • WR >> DB
  • OL is always interchangeable
  • DE >> DT
  • DT >> DE (in a 3-4 scheme)
  • DE >> OLB
  • OLB >> DE

TRADES AND PLAYER MANAGEMENT - MADDEN

Trading Rules

  • Each team will receive 4 trades each season (that includes the off-season and regular season). You will have as much time as the game gives you to make these trades, the deadline will not be extended for you to do a deal. -
  • SS or XF players can only be traded 1 time per season.
  • Teams are permitted to trade player salaries and bonuses in the amounts of 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%, only if they are on the last year of their deal
  • Trades including the following will need to be sent into the commissioners to be team reviewed and voted upon before being completed in-game.
  • 85+ Overall (without morale / temp. boosts)
  • Superstar / X-Factor Dev Trait
  • Any 1st Round Picks
  • Any Salary Involved Trade
  • For a trade to be reviewed, users must submit the following items in a group chat with @commishbiscotti @commishlizard @commishjray
  • Age, Dev Trait, and OVR.
  • Absolutely NO trading with the CPU.
  • Once a trade has been approved by your commissioners, the trade MUST be executed.
  • New users CANNOT trade until they have played at least 3 user games.

Player Movement

  • Any OL, DL, LB can be moved to other OL, DL, LB positions. -
  • A player is to NOT be moved to any of the previous listed positions twice, ex. OLB cannot be moved to DT after moving to DE.
  • The only situation where a S can play LB, is if it has actually happened in the NFL. There are no height, weight requirements. If the S hasn't played LB in the NFL, they won't in MMA.
  • Players who have played multiple positions in the NFL can play those positions in this league. For example: Tavon Austin to HB and WR, Taysom Hilll QB, RB, TE & wherever else the Saints use him
  • To release any player above 85 overall, you must gain permission from a commissioner to do so.

Dev Regressions

  • We do NOT allow the CPU to regress Dev Traits. Commissioners will come together at the end of each season and decide if a player/players should be regressed or not:
  • To make this determination, commissioners will look at factors such as stats, injuries/suspensions, mid-season team changes, new users, age and sliders.
  • If you feel like you have an appeal for a dev, come to a commissioner ready with your reasoning

LEAGUE PUNISHMENTS

Sportsmanship

  • Trash talk will always be encouraged, but only as long as it is madden oriented. Once it sways away from that and becomes personal, take it to the DMs, it isn’t welcome in the league chat or the timeline.

Suspensions

  • There is no set suspension for each gameplay rule. If you break rules over and over again, expect the suspensions to get worse and worse.
  • A team's QB, best Offensive player, or best Defensive player, are all options for the Commissioners to suspend.
  • Messaging Info Chat illegally and removing users out of chats will follow with a suspension being handed out.
  • The following will be posted on the suspension post:
  • Player
  • Rule Violation
  • Length of suspension
  • If a user has a suspension on a player and cannot play the games, that suspension will only apply to the games that are played by the user.

Stream Watch

  • If a user is placed on “Stream Watch” they will be required to stream their next 3 games and send all Commissioners their stream in a group chat.

Removable Offenses

  • Inactivity (Not Playing / No TL Activity)
  • Repetition of Rule-Breaking
  • Constantly causing drama requiring Commissioners to step in
  • Quitting
  • Cheese Gameplay

REWARDS AND DEV OPPORTUNITIES - MADDEN

Lineman Dev Games

  • Each week a commissioner will randomly select 2 users to have a random lineman dev game.
  • To earn the dev, the following stats will be required:
  • Star Dev - 100 yards rushing, 1 Sack Allowed
  • Superstar Dev - 150 yards rushing, ZERO sacks allowed

Simmed Dev Game

  • If a Dev game is simmed including a FW or FL, that user will have a chance to complete it in the next game they play. To do so, you must come to a Commissioner with a screen shot of the Dev game.

Wheel Spins for GOTW/POTW

  • The commissioners will have a position wheel which will include QB, HB, WR, OL, TE, DE, DT, OLB/MLB, CB, FS/SS
  • Winning a wheel spin gives the winner an opportunity to earn a dev game for the position it lands on
  • If the player at the position is already at XF (XF QB/S/HB etc), one re-spin may be performed.
  • The dev up will only be one step up. Normal to S, Star to SS, SS to XF

  • Each week a commissioner will select a Game of the Week. Submit your pick for the winner to @commishpeyton.
  • When you reach 5 correct GOTW winners, you will have a chance to get your dev game wheel spin.

  • Once you have spun the wheel for either POTW or GOTW your running total will reset. Play/Game totals will not carry over to additional seasons. If you don’t make it to the wheel by the end of the season, it reset’s.
  • You will be maxed out on 1 dev game per regular and postseason

Playoff Pick-em

  • At the postseason, you may submit your picks for the winner of each round of the playoffs. DM picks to @commishpeyton.
