Here’s my collection of links and information related to the 2019 Boulder City Council elections. I’m trying to keep this opinion-free and unbiased, so feel free to call me out if it’s not.

I set this document to read-only, but viewers should be able to add comments. Please add comments if you see errors or have additional links to add.

This document is getting rather long. That’s a good thing. More information is generally better. But if you’re not sure where to start or feeling overwhelmed, I’d suggest the Media Coverage section (especially the voteboulder.co site) and the first 15-30 minutes of the League of Women Voters Candidate Forum.

Why vote?

In 2019 alone, Boulder City Council has made decisions about or given city staff guidance on the following issues. If you care about any of these, you should care about who is representing your voice on council.

Candidate Websites

Personal opinion here: many of the candidates sound very similar on their websites. Everyone cares about everything. I think media coverage related to past actions on issues and any interviews/forums are likely to be much more useful in weighing which candidates should get your vote.
