A Tribute to Lord Willingdon

Viscount Willingdon’s distinguished services to the Mesopotamian Expeditionary Force during his Bombay Governorship—he became governor of Madras after the war—is commemorated by the portraits of himself and Viscountess Willingdon to be exhibited at Messrs. Agnew’s Gallery in Bond Street until January 11. Lady Willingdon, it is gratefully recalled by those concerned, was intimately associated also with the work. The portraits, that of Viscount Willingdon by Mr. Oswald Birley and that of the Viscountess by the Chevalier de Laszlo [7755], have been presented to them by all ranks of the Mesopotamian Expeditionary Force.
