Short guide to Ryterna Modul Mototourism Rally 2017

General rules
- All types of MCs take part, riders - novice and experienced.
- All over Lithuania.
- Team-based. Teams comprise 2-5 motorcycles (2-10 team members).
- The whole trip should fit into 10 hours.
- Visit interesting, cultural, historic places, that are provided by organizers and accomplish tasks.
- The organizers will provide the task books at start. The task book will contain all objects to visit and related questions or tasks.
- Team plan their routes individually. It is not required to visit all objects, though there might be some mandatory places to visit.
- All riders should strictly follow Traffic Regulations.
- Riders and their motorcycles should have all necessary documents and licences that are necessary to drive legally together with them. Motorcycles should be in technical order.
- Riders should wear all necessary motorcycle gear.
Process

- Team registers and pays start fees on the official website.
- Team receives a start pack by registered post within 5-2 days before start.
- Start pack contents:
- Team Registration Sheet
- Task Sheet
- Stickers for motorcycles with team number
- Competitor ID cards
- Team signs Team Registration Sheet, takes a photo of it and sends to provided email.
- Team takes photos of its motorcycle odometers and sends them to provided email.
- Start takes place exactly at 8am.
- Task Book with route objects and tasks is published on official website.
- Start is allowed from any geographical location.
- Team visits objects that it has included into their route and completes selected tasks.
- Team registers all visited objects and task completions (stamps, answers) in Task Sheet and sends fotos to provided email.
- Riding time limit - 10 hrs.
- Team should finish in Birstonas before 6pm (within 10 hrs from start).
- If it takes more than 9 hours, penalty points are calculated
- Team takes photos of its motorcycle odometers and and sends to provided email.
- Awards start at approx. 6:30 pm.
- Teams that take first three places are warded.
- There might be additional nominations.
Routes and tasks
- Map of objects and tasks are all provided in the form of Task Book. Task Book is published on start.
- Every task is evaluated by points. Task should be fulfilled completely in order get points.
- Team selects tasks on its own and plans its own route.
- There might be mandatory tasks.
- In most cases the task includes visiting an object, 1+ photo, sometimes answering to question.
Technical means
- Motorcycle in technical order, that are allowed to participate in public traffic, with all valid docs.
- Mobile appliance (smartphone, pad, etc.) connected to mobile internet to send fotos to email.
- Task Sheet - used to check visited objects, answer questions, collect stamps (as indicated in task descriptions).
Emblems
- Stickers with team number - mandatory to attach to front windscreen (if any). Otherwise, to any visible surface of motorcycle.
- Competitor ID cards - should be weared during the rally.
Results calculation
- [Team result] = [Sum of points for accomplished tasks] - [Penalties]
Limitations
- If late to finish, penalty points are applied. If finish is closed, the team is considered to be NOT FINISHED.
- Average speed of the trip should not exceed ~55 km/h (the exact number will be provided separately). If exceeded, penalty points are applied. Average speed is calculated basing on odometer values, that team has provided. On request of referees team is required to prove that odometer mileage corresponds the actual mileage (e.g. providing its exact route).
