- The Baiji Dolphin, an animal that has been extinct for about 10 years, has many adaptations that helped it survive for a while before dying out. It could camouflage which came in handy for hunting for their prey unnoticed, and hiding from their predators. Even though they do have bad eyesight, they still manage not to bump into things due to echolocation by using clicks and/or whistles. The dolphins also communicate with each other by clicking and/or whistling.
