TEEBOARD BETA PATCH NOTES:
v0.1.0 beta 2014-05-16
- A new widget has arrived: Chat. You can find it under Widgets → Chat. To start receiving chat messages from your channel, enable the Chat toggle switch at the bottom left. TeeBoard will then anonymously connect to your channel’s chat room. This is a read only connection, just as you would visit a Twitch channel without logging in.
Note: the chat widget uses a different (more complicated) mechanism to communicate with the main application (TeeBoard). The chat widget is pretty much a test to see if it works for everyone and if that is the case, the other widgets (notifications, clock, etc..) will be reworked to use the new communication channel as well.
- More troll control - always a good thing :) The option to remove a troll/follower from the list of followers is now available via a right click menu. To remove a follower name, right click the item in the followers list and select “remove”. The list is then reloaded and the offending name will be ignored and will also be removed from text files. Note however that if the “display on stream” feature is enabled, a notification may still occur on the stream.
When a follower name is removed it is stored locally and will no longer be displayed, even after restarting TeeBoard.. good riddance.
To edit the list of banned names, right click the followers list and select “Edit”.
- Additional notes regarding the Chat Widget:
- The dimensions of the widget in OBS are determined by the width and height specified in the CLR Browser source properties. It is not recommended to resize the widget in the OBS scene as this will scale the text and most likely make it unreadable. Width and/or height adjustments should therefor be done in the CLR Browser properties.
- The widget should work fine in XSplit (even with the current LocalConnection bug in XSplit).
- Scaling the widget directly in the XSplit scene preview will preserve the font size.
- There are no icons (mod, broadcaster, sub, emoticons) and there are no plans on adding them.. so don’t ask :)
