Introduction
This document is a work in progress. Any additional
information or corrections should be brought to the
attention of the Preble Cross Country Coaches.
Between the years of 1964 - 1969, there were no meet
results available so all information was taken from the
Green Bay Press Gazette. Because either no information
was reported or very little was available in the paper,
those years are very sparse with results.
This history document is dedicated to all the coaches
and athletes who have contributed to this great
program. Special recognition goes to Coach Jack
Drankoff who for over 40 years made Preble Cross
Country one of the top programs in the State of Wisconsin.

Season Highlights
The Girl’s Team finished their season on a high note by winning the FRVC Conference Meet and finishing 4th at the WIAA Sectional Meet. The team was led by Susan Hartley who won 4 meets including the FRVC and Sectional Titles. Sarah Conrad also helped led the team to success with 7 top five finishes and a 7th place finish at the Sectional Meet. The Boy’s Team was also very successful with 5 team victories including the City, Brown County, and FRVC Conference Titles. The boys finished 2nd at the WIAA Sectional and 15th at the State Meet. The team was led by Chris King with 3 top five finishes during the season. Other top runners for the boys were Ryan Zellner, Scott Farrell, Lance Hall and Aaron Hagge |

Season Highlights
The Girl’s Team did not win any meets during the season with their top performances being a 4th at the FRVC Conference Meet and a 3rd at the Brown County Meet. The was led by Sarah Conrad who won the Brown County Meet and was the FRVC Conference Champion. She also had 2 other 2nd place finishes during the year. The Boys only had one victory but it was an important one. They won the FRVC Conference Meet and also qualified for the State Meet by taking a second place at the WIAA Sectional Meet. At the State Meet they finished in 15th Place. The boys were led by James Hendricks with 3 top five finishes. |

Season Highlights
The Girls Cross Country Team had limited success during the season. They finished in the top three in 6 meets during the year. The team was led by Jessica Riederer with 5 top five finishes and Sarah Conrad with 2 top five finishes. The Boys did not have any meet victories but had one of their best meets at the WIAA Sectional with a 4th place finish. They also finished in the top 3 in 5 meets during the season. The boys were led by Matt VanBeek with 3 top 5 finishes. |
